Chapter 29

Arika's pov:

I was clicking some pictures of the view from the balcony. When I heard avi's voice calling me

"Come inside, we have to go" he said and I walked towards him

"Are you ordering me Mr?" I asked sliding my hand under my jacket pocket

"Mai kon hota hum aapko order dene wala, Mai toh bas kehra tha nashta krle aap mujhpe Daya hojyegi" he said joining his hand in front of me and I burst out in laugh at his antics

"You are so cute" I said pulling his cheeks

"Don't call me cute" he said

"Then what should I call you?" I asked

"Aapke pranpriye" he said and I chuckled

"Toh pranpriye chale ab?" I asked and he hummed in response and we went outside.

Avyan called the driver and we headed to have our breakfast. After breakfast I want to visit the library to get some books. I am a reader but it's been a long time I have red any.

Driver stopped the car in front of the library. I and avyan stepped outside and walked inside. I roamed through some section of books and selected some to buy. I took them and walking towards the billing counter I kept the it on table.

One more book kept above my bunch and my eyes widen after seeing the cover page and reading the name. I cocked my head right, up

"Are you buying this book?" I asked avyan

"Yes. I have heard a lot about this book. So, I thought to give it a try" he responded

"What you have heard?" I asked

"That it's a very interesting book" he replied

"No. It's not. We are not buying it" I said and was about to keep the book aside when he pulled the book to his side

"I'll buy it. I want to read" he said

"No. You will not" I said pulling the edge of the book to my side

"I will" he said and pulled the other edge on his side

"No. You will not"

"I will"

"No. You will not"

"I will"

We were arguing like this by pulling the edge of the book by our side.

"Sir, ma'am if you want the book but it fast" the saleswomen in the billing counter said

"There's a line behind you" she added

"Exactly. Hum Jahan khade ho jaate hai, line wahi se start hoti hai" I mocked her,

because I don't like when someone tought me what to do no and not.

She is an Indian. So, she understood what I said.

"I am sorry on her behalf" avyan said to her, I glared him

"We want those books and this one too" he said adding 'haunting adeline' book

"Fine" I said and walked aside in anger folding hands over my chest.

After few minutes avyan also joined me

"Are you angry?" He asked

"Doesn't matter. I'll surely take my revenge" I said and walked further

He followed me. There was a beautiful park nearby library. So, we walked to that place. There were many small childrens playing and enjoying.

"Avi, let's go there and click some pictures" I said pointing towards a tree which is blossomed with beautiful flowers.
