Test of Strength {Ch.11}

{Day 14}

In the morning... the birds chirped, meanwhile Espinosa and Xamx got ready for the challenge of today

Espinosa sighed and looked at Xamx, he said "Hey... How are you so confident, are you not nervous about this?.."

Xamx replied "Well... Yeah! Actually even if I don't seem to show you that much of a doubt, my head is filled with thoughts... Come on don't worry, you have to take a next step and I see something on you that I don't think no one else has noticed..."

"I see the potential of a great human, someone who is capable of things they thought it was impossible."

Espinosa stayed quite and took that deep into his mentality since he was scared to his core.

Espinosa then said to himself "Sometimes I might need to think why did I choose this..."

He then walked out since he was the one to go first against a elf, the light of the sun strike his eyes and as his eyes grew a costumed to the light he saw the stone arena for it, he took a step and another... He stood still in his corner and looked at his opponent get ready. His heart was pumping hard... Did he really wanted to fight, his mind was filling with thoughts... 

Ash then started to count  "1"

Espinosa kept thinking to himself "Why is this world cruel? I hate it... this is not how you are supposed to prove yourself to be the best right?! 

Ash counted "2"

His mind kept going faster... Faster!... He fears, HE FEARS... His adrenaline started pumping and his eyes began to shift and he got in a fighting stance as he got ready!

Ash screamed "3... AND GO!"

Espinosa swiftly made a energy knife in his hand and leaped to the left of the arena.

The elf laughed "Silly, are you nervous what are you trying to achieve by moving around without doing nothing, the only thing you will achieve is tiring yourself."

She pulled the string of bow and aim at Espinosa.. and she shoots! Espinosa jumped up to dodge the arrow  and laughed it off "You think that will actually get me?" but his comment got silent as soon as he saw the arrow get brighter and explode!  

As the explosion impacted the blood-filled arena, Espinosa got sent two or three steps away as a consequence of its petulant rage. The heart beat hard, sweat descended from his face, and his body weakened,  he couldn't stop either way; if he did, he'd be dead. Somehow, posterior to the impact.

Espinosa yelled "Shut up! You don't know how much I been dealing with other stressful stuff!" 

He rushed and tried to grab her head to smash it into the ground but she dodge, she laughed at him "Is that all you got?", but she then felt a sharp pain from her legs, it was the energy knifes of him.

She yelled "What the hell?!" She got distracted and Espinosa rushed AGAIN! He launched himself towards her and kicked her out of the arena! She tried grabbing onto something but it was to late she lost the balance and fell to the ground outside the arena!

Ash laughed and said "Well that was quite impressive and fast! I hoped the elf would have won the match but it seems this humans have more too offer but my hopes don't too far".

"So the Winner is Espinosa... Good job, lets see how your friend goes against our next guest..." She laughed and continued to the next round...
