"We won't stay here", Jeonghan announces. Is it even something to think over? They have already prolonged their stay.
"You don't have a choice. I don't have a choice", It really shouldn't but it hurts. These words of Seungcheol hurt. His eagerness to kick them out hurts. His helplessness to not being able to do so hurts.
When he left for work, him not looking at them once hurt.
"We will call for a private jet if needed", Dino says.
"It won't open the routes here. It's a natural hazard. The weather-"
"We don't care! We will find a way", Joshua interrupts.
Seungcheol sighs defeatedly, "Do as you wish".
They try all the ways possible but they all reach the same answer which is along the lines, There's no way to get out of this place until the weather gets better.
"We can stay somewhere else", Vernon suggests and everyone gets ready to leave.
"No, it's not a good idea", Seungcheol says.
"There are bad people around", Sunjae joins in, "And our place is the best place. It doesn't see much damage. Haraboji used to say this is a lucky place."
Jeonghan doesn't know who this 'Haraboji' is. He doesn't know how charmed this place is or how many bad people are out there. He just knows, for them, the worst person is here.
"You sure?", Seungkwan sasses while looking around. The kid doesn't understand.
"I would rather die than stay here", Jeonghan truly would. He does feel like he'll die any moment here. He doesn't even wish to stay here long enough to finish this discussion. Indefinitely? Not a chance.
Seungcheol is hurt, evidently hurt. Good. But more than that, he seems concerned for his son whose presence Jeonghan forgot for a moment. Whatever happened in the past, it didn't make him inhuman, at least. So, he's genuinely glad the kid didn't hear him.
"We are leaving", Junhui starts walking towards the door with the rest on his heels.
"I said no!", Seungcheol says adamantly and blocks their way, "None of you will leave".
It was almost a reflex the way they straightened up.
"You came here on your own accord but you will leave when I say so. Now that you all are here, whether you like it or not, you all are my responsibility."
And suddenly, Jeonghan is back in that green room where Seungcheol promises for the first time, You all are my responsibility.
Seungcheol has gone to shop for some grocery and other stuff that would be needed, only after instructing his son and Jeonghan quotes, "Don't let any one of them leave. I'm trusting you with it".
And though the young boy, physically, can't stop them, they still haven't left so it's working, he guesses?
Jeonghan likes him.
Honestly, he was reluctant at first, maybe also a bit aloof but after spending almost the whole day with the overenthusiastic little fan made him fancy the boy, made him look at him as a different entity and not as Seungcheol's son.
Seungcheol's son, Sunjae, they got to know is nine years old. He is obviously not his biological son, unless Seungcheol kept his growing son hidden from them all those years.
So, the question is, Did Seungcheol marry someone who already had a kid? The mere thought is devastating. Seungcheol has built a family for himself while Jeonghan....what? No! Jeonghan is living well. Yes.
