Believe it or not, Sunjae isn't a pawn for them. At least not for Jeonghan.

What Dino did was totally uncalled for. What worsened the guilt is Sunjae's innocence.

"Samchon!!!", He's calling for him, Jeonghan thinks and eagerly looks at Sunjae whose eyes are sparkling but not for Jeonghan, for someone past Seungcheol, for the doctor standing at the door, Daehyun-sshi.

He doesn't know how much but the said man has definitely heard them because even after Sunjae happily runs and hugs the man and he does return the gesture, his eyes keep moving back and forth from Seungcheol to them, his expression grave.

"Friday night?", What's with their friday nights?!

Seungcheol meets Daehyun-sshi's eyes once and then he's stepping outside.

Jeonghan shifts his attention back to Sunjae, "Can we join you today?". As if that is going to right the wrong.

Sunjae smiles so wide, it hurts; his unsullied disposition hurts, "Of course!!!! Dino samchon, you all can't perform but I can", he giggles. God! They don't deserve to be this kid's idol. Dino's hard face is softening at the edges. If Jeonghan stares for longer, maybe he'd find regret but he doesn't want to.

We will have so much fun, Sunjae did say before running outside but Jeonghan has a feeling they will have anything but fun. They are sitting in such a manner where thirteen of them is on one side and two are on the other. Sunjae is moving here and there, singing their songs, dancing and though it is an entertaining sight, it is doing little to mitigate the tension in the atmosphere. Seungcheol is sitting right in front of him but is avoiding him, them like the plague.

As Wonwoo pours a drink and places it in front of Seungcheol, the doctor slides the glass to his side, "He doesn't drink, I'll take it". Excuse me, what?! Seungcheol doesn't drink?! If this was three years back, Jeonghan would've fallen off the chair laughing. This reminds him of Don't Lie II episode where they all were lying and Seungcheol said he will stop drinking and Jeonghan couldn't stop laughing. He even teased him later on, while they were drinking.

This is unexpected and it bothers him. Because, why?! Did Seungcheol stop drinking because of a reason? Is Jeonghan that reason? Did he stop drinking because he didn't have Jeonghan to drink with him? Or did he stop drinking because he wanted to forget Jeonghan? Because he wanted to erase any trace, any memory of Jeonghan from his life?

"Eat", Daehyun-sshi puts a plate of some fish cake skewers in front of Seungcheol. Dude! He's not a dog.

"Later", Seungcheol replies softly.

"No. Eat now", Jeonghan couldn't stop himself from rolling his eyes.

"Yess, Appa, eat now", Sunjae settles himself on Daehyun-sshi's lap and the trio share a moment.

The distressing domesticity is back.

Jeonghan doesn't remember how much alcohol he has had in such short time but he has no intention of stopping anytime soon, especially when Seungcheol has smiled after hours and it is directed to the people beside him. The night is strangely getting colder, Jeonghan relies on the alcohol to keep him warm because the scene in front of him adds on to the cold.

"Hyung, I hope Hyungwon hyung isn't worrying a lot", Mingyu says and for a second, Jeonghan didn't even understand it was meant for him.

"Hyungwo....? Ooh something, I've heard something", Jeonghan feels his neck heat up as words wrapped in teasing tone make way out of a nine-year old's mouth. No, Hyungwon and he had nothing to do with each other but the rumors fly. Although he felt like making it clear to Sunjae, he doesn't, because he caught Seungcheol pausing mid-air while picking up a skewer. It was just for a second but it counts. "Shh, it's a secret", He replies in the same teasing tone.
