Assistant Steve wonders if Prof. Favre was even alive, considering they had locked themselves in the deepest part of the lab. Banning both himself and Rainbow Assistant from even getting remotely close, or else they get their life threatened. It was already terrifying as it is that he threw a knife at them.

They can't imagine the knife hitting its mark though, it was bad enough that Rainbow had fled to the gardens to avoid the risk of being harmed. He has an aversion to pain after all, considering it was thanks to their machine design, nonetheless there wasn't really much they could do at the moment. They had already done all the work that had been scheduled and there was no way he would bother the Professor when he's so focused and busy.

Busy with what? He will never know honestly.

He's afraid to ask at this point.

Mostly since they really didn't want to risk getting a severe injury that they can't repair by themselves and there was no way he could trust Rainbow when they have been trying to destroy him with every chance they could get. Although he does fight back, that's not important.

Actually, you know what, he forgot to get pay back for the last stunt Rainbow pulled on him, with a slowly growing yet evil smile on his face, he casually skated elsewhere to enact his plans.

Rainbow wouldn't mind a bit of fire, wouldn't he.

Prof. Favre smiles as he gets the last few components to work, trying to get even the smallest stardust from an actual literal star was quite frankly– nearly impossible. Even more so when he's trying to use even the smallest bit possible to create a life core artifact. Similar to the item he had used as a core for his Rainbow Assistant, but this is different.

Very different. Which is always a headache to think about if he considers the amount of effort he made to make it in the first, as well as the chances of finding a suitable item to even house the magic and what not into it. Which, quite frankly, cost him an arm!

Literally.

He had been lucky that Rainbow Quest had managed to help him get his arm back through the magical power of Respawn.

Which he needed to do more research on. For a scientist with tons of resources and access to things that no other should have, especially him really, Respawn is an extremely overpowered, but very very painful process.

He pity and envy the Minecrafters that can harness its powers so well.

Anyways! Prof. Favre hums as he moves towards the artifact he had made. Not even caring for his safety one bit as he picked up the extremely hot and most likely painfully scar inducing item from its platform. Collecting Wither Skulls was the worst pain he had to deal with, killing several Withers was even worse, collectively using all the painfully harvested Nether Star to grind it down to dust was even more painful.

It was like tempered glass that didn't want to break down so easily, so he had to use a safe container to even remotely shatter it to dust AND not risk it exploding into his face and making him lose his one and only good eye.

He likes to see, even if it's blurry, thank you very much.

Although he doesn't like his empty eye, he can't see out of it and he most certainly doesn't want to do anything that could risk causing him problems.
