Assistant Steve grumbles as they drag themselves out of the pantry, having done his turn of cleaning it for the day, until the next time anyways. They really should have cleaned it themselves a long time ago before it got worse and this might as well be karma coming after him for all the times he had 'forgotten' and pretty much refuses to clean it just to spite the Professor.
Although it was much of a pain to clean that pantry, even just a little bit, he did find some interesting things. Things that they needed to bring to the Professor's attention, considering he wasn't entirely sure what to do with it. Much like the explosives they found before, they weren't really allowed to do anything with it by themselves.
He had tried asking Rainbow what to do with it, but even he didn't know and there was no way they would bother Galaxy at this point of time. Something about mapping and compiling data about every world that had been visited by the Professor. Which, they found ridiculous, there's no way that the Professor has capabilities to travel other worlds, they simply don't have the technology to do that.
Well, even if they did, they highly doubt that the Professor would keep such knowledge a secret, unless, of course, they're not ready for such a thing. Which, quite frankly, wouldn't be too out of place.
They and Rainbow aren't that trustworthy in the first place.
They both did cause more property damages in their little squabble to end each other's existence after all.
Nonetheless, they continued their trip to the Professor office, it took awhile, but they did eventually get to the room, practically ignoring the fact that they should have knocked and entered the room regardless.
"Professor–" Assistant Steve immediately went silent upon seeing that the Professor was sitting at his desk, sleeping peacefully. While also being surrounded by a ton of work, which, for once, Assistant wonders just how he could have so much work when there's not a lot going on in the Lab for them to have that much work in the first place.
Regardless, Assistant found it...rare to see the Professor sleeping at his desk like this. It would be a bad idea to actually move them, since, well, the last time they had tried, they nearly lost their core. Which was a terrifying experience honestly, which is why it's a rule to never move or bother the Professor when he's asleep in some unusual places.
With a shake of their head, they went ahead to grab a blanket and covered them with it.
They would have to ask the Professor about the things they had found in the pantry some other time, for now, they would tell the others to not disturbed the Professor in the meantime.
