The first time he saw the signs of an Eclipse happening, he was undeniably excited, he had all but grabbed important artifacts he had made to absorb energy and quickly rushed out of the lab. Leaving his poor Assistants dumbfounded, Prof. Favre didn't blame them for reacting like that, he rarely ever rushed out like that unless he wanted to do something of interest.

Or something important, in this case, Prof. Favre found that collecting the energy of an Eclipse is a very important matter. It happens rarely and he's not missing out on his chances at all.

It would have been better if he had a Blood Moon instead, it would have oh so definitely brought him a breakthrough with some research he has been stuck on for quite some time now. But alas, even finding a Blood Moon at all is all but really difficult.

Difficult enough that he doesn't know for sure if he could ever find a natural occurring Blood Moon without some sort of crazy rituals or whatever happening.

Happened a few times and quite frankly, he had enough horror since then.

Nonetheless, he quickly rushes to the highest point of this land he had created, that highest point is Legacy Mountain Peak, a place he had admittedly made as a resting spot for Ry'quest to enjoy the majority of the time he would ever visit. With the lowest point of the land being Lake Redemption being overtaken by Twisted. He wasn't sure why Twisted wanted the lake at all, but he didn't dare to ask anymore than necessary.

He likes to not hear anything morally questionable at the moment or the very much truthful jab against him.

Nonetheless, by the time he had reached the very top of the Mountain, he had enough time to spare for preparing the Artifact to absorb the energy of the Eclipse. He can't miss this chance and he needed to get as much energy from the Eclipse as possible. If it means he runs the risk of being, well, affected by the energy.

He has no idea what the Eclipse can do to him due to the nature of his own Otherworldly Star Artifact, but he doesn't care. Not one bit.

Nope.

Anyways, once the Eclipse had begun, he smiled as he watched it appear and the Artifact began to absorb the energy it created. It will take some time for it to be complete, but that's fine.

Shame that it couldn't have been a Bloodmoon though.

Prof. Favre yawns as he heads over to lake Redemption, mostly to check if some of the fruits and berries he had planted a while ago had ripen or not. After all, he wanted to make a celebratory meal in the morning after he had successfully created Galaxy Steve as his Astrologist Assistant–

The world suddenly turned into a tinted red.

He looked up at the sky.

Damn, his luck was awful, just when he needed a Blood Moon, it actually appears AFTER he had successfully created Galaxy Steve with the Eclipse energy he got a long time ago.

With a defeated sigh, he decided to just take out an empty Artifact he carried around for situations like this and simply just wait for the Energy to be absorbed.

He can be salty later.
