Chapter 22

Josh's POV:
I'm on my way to Claire's apartment to surprise her because you know, it's always fun surprising your siblings, and I miss her.
I park my car and grab the food I got us to eat for breakfast in the passengers seat and head out.
I take the stairs up to the 4th floor since it's faster then waiting for the stupid elevator. I really don't have patience.. I should probably fix that.
Instead of knocking I walk right in, she won't mind..I hope.
I set the food on the counter in the kitchen and go to the living where I see Claire and Liam sleeping together on the couch. Some might say I would get mad at this, but they are friends and they have gotten really close, and plus all they are doing is sleeping.
I turn the tv off and place the remote back into the cabinet.
I go to wake up Claire first,"Claireeee" I drag the "e"
She doesn't budge. I shake her shoulders a bit and she starts to groan and move a little. "Ohhhh Claireeee, time to get up."
"I'm up, I'm up!" She sits up fast. "Hi" her voice raspy.
"Hey there sleepy head, I see you were quite comfortable." I motion to where she was laying on Liam only a few seconds ago.
She turns her head in the direction of Liam and a smile falls on her lips. "We must have fallen asleep watching tv last night." She scratches her head and stretches.
"I brought you food. If I would have known Liam was here I would've brought him food too."
"I can always cook for him when he gets up." She stands and walks to the kitchen. "Ooo, you brought me pancakes, sausage, hashbrowns, and orange juice. Yummy." She says rubbing her stomach in a circular motion.
"Yeah I know that's your favourite." I shrug. "It was nothing." I smile.
"Well, thanks Joshy." She gives me a hug.
"I remember when you used to call me that. That was so long ago."
"Yeah, we were little." She laughs.
"Anyways eat up. I've got a big day planned for us." I clap my hands and hurry her to the table.
"Okay well I want Liam to come along, more bonding time. Is that okay with you?" Taking a bite of her pancake.
"S'fine with me."
"Good" she smiles.
"Eat. I'll go wake Liam." I walk over to the couch where Liam is and get him up after the first time I called his name.
"Hey mate." I crouch down. "Your finally up."
"Mmm" he mumbles. "What time is it?" His voice raspy.
"Half past 10." I pat him on the back. "Hurry and get ready, Claire, you and I are doing something all day. I've got a big day ahead of us. No time to waste. Chop chop." I get up and clap my hands twice.
"Oh great." He says softly hoping I wouldn't hear him.
"Hey now, it's going to be fun!"

"Oh, yea sure it is." He laughs.

"You don't even know what we're doing. So shush and get ready before I kick you where the sun doesn't shine. Let's get moving!"

"Here you can have half of this, I'm getting full." I hear Claire tell Liam.
"Hey do you think I should invite Louis too? I don't wanna leave him out." I ask Claire and Liam.

"Yeah sure, I miss that goofball." Claire says.

"You only saw him yesterday." Liam laughs.

"Still, he is my best friend." She gets up and clears her plate. "And I'm allowed to miss my best friend whenever I want." She sticks her tongue out at Liam. She heads into her bedroom and closes the door behind her.
"Finally, she takes forever." I sigh

"She is a girl, they take hours to get ready." Liam jokes.

"Hey I heard that! And that's not true!" Claire yells from her bedroom.
Me and Liam both laugh at this. "Oops." I say.

"You bring this food?" Liam asks pointing to the food in front of him.

"Mhm. It was for Claire. If I would have known you were coming, I would've gotten you something too."

"It's fine, thanks anyways mate." Finishing his last bite of pancake.

"I can take your plate, you go get ready." I get up and head to the kitchen to wash his plate and fork.
I go to sit on the couch and already see Liam is dressed and ready to go. "Wow that was fast, good job mate." I pat him on the back.
All he does is shake his head and chuckle at me.
About 30 minutes later Claire comes in the room fully clothed and ready to go.
"Wow 30 minutes isn't so bad." I chuckle.
