chapter 12

Josh's pov:

I can't sleep. That dream.. I keep thinking about it.. Lou is already back asleep, I don't really know where Liam is... It's almost 2:00am, we are supposed to meet some of Liam's mates today. I think we planned for 8 o'clock, why did we agree for so early? I should be looking forward to this. I want to wake up Lou so I can have someone to talk to right now, but I'd rather not make him mad about waking him up. I'm just staring at the ceiling listening to all of the sounds a hospital can make, there's Claire heart monitor beeping and you can hear the nurses down the hall muttering things. Outside it's quite, the moon is out and you can hear the faint sound of the wind... Eventually i drift back to sleep.

I wake up to hear Liam talking on the phone out in the hallway.

"Yeah, they are still sleeping.... Ok, I'll let you know when." I hear him say into the phone, he hangs up the phone and walks into the room.

"Morning." I say as a sit up on the couch.

"Oh hey. It's 8. We can meet them at 9, Harry said they are fine with whatever."

"Lou is more then likely going to sleep till 10" I say laughing.

"I'll text them Noon then.. Do you want to go pick up some breakfast? If we stay in here we'll probably wake him up." Liam says looking over at Louis sleeping on the couch.

"Yeah might as well, let me just change." I get up and grab my bag from the corner of the room and take out a random t-shirt and a pair of jeans, i carry those into the bathroom and change quickly. I put my dirty clothes into my bag and walk over to the door. "Okay, you ready?".

"Yeah. Let's go." We walk down to the cafeteria and grab bagels and juice. We sat at a table in the middle of the room to eat. Most of the time we were in silence, i had nothing really to talk about anyway. After we finished we walked back up to the room.

"Good Morning lads." Louis says greeting us. He's already dressed and it staring a a blank phone screen before looking up. "It's 9:30am weren't we supposed to be there by now?"

"Liam changed it to noon." I say.

"Oh. Cool." Liam and i sit down. We sat for two hours just doing out own things, Louis went down for breakfast by himself and came back up 30 minutes later.

Liam's pov: Today is the day Louis and Josh meet my friends. I know somethings going to go wrong, it's just the way my luck works. I notice that the time on my phone says 11:28...

"We should probably get going." I say. Louis and Josh both look up from their phones.

"Hah, yeah." Louis says. We all start getting up and we all stop over by Claire to say bye... Josh said that i should drive so i led them to my car and we got in. Louis sat in the passenger seat, Josh sat in the back seat behind me. I turned off my phone before pulling out of the parking lot, i just don't wanna ruin anyone else's life...

Nando's is loud when we walk in.

"Are your friends here yet?" Josh asked.

"Um. I'll check." I look around the room and don't see them yet. "No, they aren't, we can find a seat and I'll text them" we found a booth in the back corner of the building. Once my phone turns on i text Harry.
'Hey, we're here. Are you guys on your way?"

"Welcome to Nando's, can i take your orders?" I look up to find a waitress standing there.

"We're waiting for three more, but you can start with drinks" i reply. The waitress nods.

"I'll just have water." Louis says.

"Yeah, same, water sounds nice." Josh laughs.

"Make that three waters" I finish.

"Okay, I'll go get those" the waitress walks into the kitchen. Harry still hasn't responded. They're always late to things.

"This place has always been my favourite." Josh says.

"Yeah, they have good food here" i replay.

"VERY good food." Louis adds laughing. The waitress comes out with our drinks.

"Thanks." We all comment when the waitress hands us our drinks.

"Are we still waiting on the three?" The woman asks.

"Yeah, sorry, i know they're always late.." I say.

"Ok." The woman goes off to serve on the table next to us. Louis, Josh, and I all talk about the food and how nice the place is.

"LIAAAM" i look up to find Niall running in. He runs over to our table. "Hi."

"Hey." I laugh. "Niall these are Josh and Louis, and this is Niall." I say to introduce them. I few seconds later the rest of the guys walk in. "Zayn and Harry, meet Josh and Louis, and Josh and Louis meet Zayn and Harry."

"Nice to meet you guys." Zayn says.

"Yeah, hey" Harry adds. The conversation went dead for a little bit until Niall bursted in.

"I like food. Do you like food. This place is my favourite."

"This place is my favourite too!" Josh says back.

"Here we go again with food talk" i laugh.

"Is the waitress going to come anytime soon." Harry complains.

"She did come, and she seemed pretty impatient because you guys weren't here yet" Louis answers. I laugh realising that they already act like they've known each other for ages. We all laugh and have random conversations.

"Can I take orders now?" The waitress asked interrupting us. We all give her our orders and continue to chat. 20 minutes later our food comes out and we all start eating.

This chapter didn't have much in it, but it's the double update week, and the next chapter I'll post in like 1/2 hours, because i only wrote half of it and I'm extremely tired.. So yeah.
