The episode begins with a close-up shot of MK, her eyes wide open and unblinking, her breath slow and deliberate as she stares into the distance. The camera holds on her for an unsettling twelve seconds, the silence palpable. There’s an eerie stillness surrounding her, hinting at the psychological turmoil she’s experiencing.

Then, the scene abruptly cuts to the cabin group, where tension hangs thick in the air.

“She’s probably... dead...” Damien says quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. The words hang heavy in the room.

“No, no!” Julia cries out, her voice breaking. She begins to hyperventilate, panic rising within her as she looks around at the others. Chef instinctively moves to hold her back, concern etched across his face.

“Julia, calm down,” Axel says, trying to be the voice of reason. “He… he’s probably right. The killer hasn’t shown any remorse, so I doubt they would with MK.”

Confessional - Wayne & Raj:
"I'm pretty sure everyone's feeling a lot lot safer with both Caleb and Chef in the cabin." Raj says, calmly. "Axel aswell, she's a bit scary though.." Wayne says, narrowed eyes. "Mhm" Raj exclaims in agreement.

Julia’s face crumples, the realization settling in like a lead weight in her chest. She is unrecognizable; the fierce, snarky girl who used to revel in her superiority is gone. Now, she feels fragile, lost in her fear. It’s as if the weight of the situation has stripped her of her bravado, revealing a vulnerability she has never shown before.

The camera captures her anguish, still the same pretty blonde teenage girl on the outside, but internally battling a storm of emotions. Her hands tremble as she clutches MK’s jacket tightly, something she catches herself doing alot, wishing desperately for it to be a lifeline, a connection to her missing friend.

It isn’t just Julia who has changed; Damien, usually articulate, kind, with a love for science, now wears a haunted expression, the shadow of doubt clouding his previously bright demeanor. He glances at Julia, his heart aching for her but feeling a chilling sense of inevitability.

Even the hockey bros, who were once boisterous and carefree, have quieted down. Wayne and Raj exchange worried glances, their usual banter replaced with a tense silence as they grapple with the grim reality of their situation.

“Maybe we should go look for her,” Bowie suggests, his voice breaking the stillness. “We can’t just sit here and assume she’s gone.”

“Are you crazy?” Damien snaps back, his fear manifesting as anger. “What if we end up like her? We have no idea what’s out there!”

Chef, sensing the rising tension, steps in. “Listen, we need to be smart about this. If we’re going to go looking for MK, we have to have a plan. We can’t just run blindly into the woods.”

Confessional - Damien:
"This is a joke, we didn't go looking when Priya went missing, or when Ripper when missing. So why are we now that MK is missing? It's bullshit."

Julia looks up at Chef, desperation in her eyes. “What if we wait too long? What if she needs us?”

The group falls silent, the weight of her words hanging in the air. They all know the stakes; the thought of leaving MK out there, potentially in danger, gnaws at their consciences.

Confessional - Axel:
"Julia's 100% right." says Axel, "That something I never thought I'd say.." she whispers to herself with raised eyebrows. "Say MK's bleeding out, if we wait around- she'll be dead before we find her."

“Let’s regroup, figure out what we know,” Axel suggests, trying to steer the conversation back on track. “We can’t let panic cloud our judgment.”

As they huddle together, the camera cuts back to MK, still standing alone in the dark, her expression unreadable. A flicker of movement catches her eye, and she turns slightly, her breathing quickening as the tension builds. The sound of twigs snapping echoes in the background, but the screen fades to black before revealing what, or who, has captured her attention.
