Episode 19: The Search

The next episode opens with tension filling the air. Another day has passed since Chef tried to convince the campers to search for Caleb and MK, but fear kept them all inside. This time, however, Axel isn't letting it slide.

"Do you all want to die in here?!" Axel yells, her voice sharp as she faces everyone. "Even if you don’t like Caleb and MK, you should still go! Think about it—we won’t survive long without water." Her frustration is palpable, and the reality of their situation is starting to sink in for the others.

Damien, still rattled with fear, shakes his head furiously. "No way! We’ll die if we go out there!" His voice wavers, but it’s clear he’s terrified of the killer waiting in the forest.

Bowie, who had been quietly thinking it over, stands up and looks at Axel. "No, Axel’s right... we’ll die if we stay put. I’m going too." He says it with confidence, trying to steady his nerves.

"If Bowie goes, I’ll go!" Raj says immediately, his loyalty to Bowie pushing him to face his fear. His resolve is clear.

"Well, if Rajie goes, I’ll go!" Wayne chimes in, eager to support his friend and join the search. He high fives Raj, trying to lighten the mood even though his heart is racing.

Damien groans, conflicted but not wanting to be left behind. "Ugh... fine... I’ll come," he mutters, dragging his feet but preparing to follow.

Julia, who’s been sitting silently in her own world of guilt and worry, suddenly speaks up. "What about me? I want to come too!" Her voice shows annoyance, but there’s a determination in her eyes. She can't bear to sit idly by, not when MK is still missing.

Chef, however, shakes his head. "No way, Julia. You need to rest. I’ll stay here and look over you. Axel—you lead the group," Chef says, his tone leaving no room for argument. He knows he can fend off the killer if they come while Julia rests, and it’s clear he’s putting her safety first.

Axel gives him a firm nod. "Alright. Let’s go."

With that, she pushes open the cabin door and steps outside, the group following closely behind her—Bowie, Raj, Wayne, and a reluctant Damien. The forest ahead looms dark and uninviting, the air thick with tension. The camera lingers on Chef as he watches them disappear into the trees, before turning to sit beside Julia, who’s clutching MK’s red jacket tightly in her hands, her mind still reeling.

As the search party ventures deeper into the forest, the atmosphere grows colder and more eerie. Every snap of a twig, every rustle of leaves makes them jump. The silence of the woods presses in around them, and each step they take feels like it could lead them straight into danger.

"Stay close, everyone," Axel warns, her eyes scanning the dense trees. They can’t afford to lose anyone else.
