The servants stood quietly outside the living room, watching. Shen Jing felt a mix of nerves and calm as he gazed at the child cradled in his husband Dai Shinto's arms.

Perched on the window frame, Orpheus observed the scene.

Chen Mingze approached the servants, instructing them to leave and allow the couple some privacy. They nodded and departed.

As the conversation unfolded, Shen Jing sought to clarify any misunderstandings, asking several questions that Dai Shinto answered thoughtfully.

With each response, Shen Jing felt a wave of relief wash over him, realizing his concerns about a possible mistress were unfounded.

He knew Dai Shinto was a loyal man, committed to their marriage, and had promised he would never take a concubine.

They concluded that they would raise the little boy together with the help of the servants.

When Chen Mingze entered to check if they needed anything, Dai Shinto handed the baby to Shen Jing and asked him to bring a bottle of milk. Chen Mingze bowed and promptly left the room to fulfill the request.

Shen Jing cradled the adorable child in his arms, speaking softly to him with affection. Meanwhile, Orpheus, feeling jittery, flew in through the open window, perching on the pillows behind Shen Jing, who welcomed his arrival without surprise.

Dai Shinto found the scene heartwarming, observing the tender bond between Shen Jing and the child, reminiscent of a mother with her baby.

He felt a deep affection for the little one and suggested they choose a name, as he still had none.

Shen Jing nodded in agreement, and they began exchanging ideas about possible names. Dai Shinto expressed his wish for the child to carry Shen Jing's surname to continue the Shen lineage, which touched Shen Jing deeply.

After some thought, Dai Shinto proposed a simple name, easy to pronounce and derived from modern words, though he kept its origin a secret.

"How about we name him Shen Rin?" he suggested. Shen Jing repeated the name in his mind while holding the baby, finding it appealing. Orpheus cawed in approval, as if he too liked the name.

"I like it; it has a nice tone," Shen Jing said, accepting the name just as Chen Mingze returned with a bottle of perfectly warmed milk for the child.

As Chen Mingze handed the warm bottle of milk to Shen Jing, he thanked him and gently began to feed Shen Rin. The baby suckled contentedly, showing no signs of complaint.

Dai Shinto rose from the couch and sat beside Shen Jing, resting his arms on his shoulders as he watched the child. Orpheus hopped onto Dai Shinto's shoulder, adding to the warmth of the moment.
