Chapter 15

Victoria's Pov 

" I already have information about the mysterious buyer. It's....Asher Oakwood " I look to my front to see the man who just confessed his feelings to me.

I should've known it's him. But, I still can't believe it.

" Hello, Ms. Valor, are you there ? " I didn't realize that I was zoning out.

" Yeah, thank you for the information, Meredith " I end the call.

" What's wrong ? " Ash asked to me while holding my hand.

I look to him with disappointment and regret.

" Tori, you're scaring me right now. Just tell me what's wrong "

I gather up all my will and slap him in the face. " How could you " I said with anger running through myself.

" You knew ? " he look back to me.

" I can't believe that you're the mysterious buyer who bought half of my ships and boats and make a business out of it " I screamed at him channeling my anger out at him.

I don't care if anyone see us.

" Nothing to see here, everybody . Just get back to your own business " he still manage to say calmly to everyone else.

I grab my purse and head outside.

" Tori, wait for me " he comes running out for me.

" Just for your information, I need to give permission to every single one of my buyers. And you're the first one who buy without my permission. You even make a business out of it without giving me credit "

" I already left you a check of the sum total " 

" I never said that you didn't pay. I am angry because you buy without my permission and I want all of my boats back "

" I'll give all your boats back tomorrow and I will shut down my company "

" Good, you're aware of what you should do " I am about to left when he grab my hand.

I turn myself to look at him. " One simple question. If I returned your boats tomorrow, would you tell me about your feelings to me , Tori ? "

" I need to rethink about that. Just because you return my boats, it doesn't grant you direct access to my heart especially my feelings " 

" Then, what do you want me to do, Tori ? "

" I expect my boats are returned tomorrow morning and news that you have shut down your new business "

" Got it. Anything else, Tori ? "

" Just don't text me for the next three days and if you're serious about your feelings to me, I expect lots of death valleys for me. I want the red flowers not the black one "

" But, you told me that death valleys aka your favourite flower only grow on the island of endless nights "

" Well, find a way to get it, Asher " I shouted at him.

" I'll win my way back to your heart, I promise, Tori " he softened his eyes at me.

" As you should if you don't want to lose me . Now, if you please excuse me, I am going to my car "

" Where you going ? "

" Home "

" Stay safe " I give him a middle finger.

I hop in my car and break down in tears. After I finish crying, I look to the road through the window admiring the busy road of Mylene city. When I arrive home, I take a shower and plop myself to bed.

Next morning

Victoria's Pov 

I look at the clock to find it's 10 AM. I get a sudden call from my assistant and I answer the call.

" The missing ships and boats are back, Ms. Valor "

" Good to hear that " I lightly chuckled.

" How did you convince him to give it back ? "

" One simple answer. He confessed his love to me last night and I asked him to return my ships and boats "

" Did you tell him about your feelings ? "

" No, because I was too angry at him "

" Ohh "

" Thank you for telling me, Meredith "

" Your welcome, Ms. Valor " I end the call and run my hand through my platinum blonde hair.

I turn on the TV to find news about Asher's new business is closed. I try to change channels but that's the only thing on TV. I grunted in frustration and turn off the TV. I change my night gown to a long black dress with long sleeves and a small black belt around my waist. I go downstairs for breakfast.

I was having my breakfast peacefully until the maid comes up with a bouquet of death valleys, my favourite flower. 

She handed me the bouquet. " Who gave this to me ? " I asked.

" It was someone named Asher Oakwood, Ms. Valor " she answered.

" Ok, thank you, you may go back to work now " 

The bell on the main entrance ringed. I open the main entrance to find Astoria with Rick.

" Are you okay ? " Astoria asked me.

" I am fine. What's with the two of you coming here ? " I asked with confusion written all over my face.

" I can't find Asher anywhere. I was hoping that he's with you " Rick said.

" The last time I saw him was last night. I haven't seen him since then " I admitted.

" Then, where is he ? "
