" So, here's the plan "

Victoria's Pov
I already ask for the mayor's permission to bring Cynthia with me to the meeting and she said yes.
" Let's just hope that everything goes according to plan " I said to ease the nervousness in my body.
" Here goes nothing " we stride in the meeting room with confidence.
Cynthia takes a seat on my left. When Sofia come to the meeting room, she look at Cynthia with confusion. The mayor comes in and we start the meeting. At the end of the meeting, I begin the phase 1 of the plan. I let out a breath I don't know I was holding.
" I think we should reconsider having Sofia as the representative of the witches because these past few weeks, she has been doing something bad. I know that this caught your attention. You might be wondering what bad thing has she been doing ? For starters, there is an on going rivalry between witches and wizards that still remains unsolved from the past. Ms. Rosequartz has been doing some dirty works for the mayor's assistant such as destroying the wizard's hiding instead of solving the problem between witches and wizards.
Now, you all may be wondering why is Cynthia here ? She was working on a proposal about the problem between witches and wizards before she got the news that she's fired from her position. A week ago, I asked the mayor to take her back as the representative of witches. But, she said that I need to wait for three months. I know it's way too sudden but let's vote now.
Who agrees that Cynthia should be a representative again ? " Every other representatives are nervous.
But, I see Noah stand up and raise his hand. Then, the other representatives start to stand up and raise their hands. The phase 1 of the plan is working smoothly.
" Who wants Sofia to still remain as a representative ? " No one raise their hand and I smile in victory.
" By the result of the vote, I announce that Cynthia is back as a representative. Welcome back, Cynthia Wildrose " the mayor proudly said and everyone clapped.
When the result is announced, Sofia get up from her seat and go out through the door.
" Thank you, thank you, thank you so much " she wrap her arms around me embracing me in a hug and I hug her back.
" Your welcome. You deserve it anyways "
" Now, how are we gonna solve the problem between witches and wizards ? " the mayor asked and we sit on our seats again.
Phase 2 of the plan starts in 3,2 and 1. " Do you mind if there is a temporary representative for the wizards ? " Cynthia asked.
" Actually, that is a good suggestion. Do we have him here ? "
Asher comes in through the door wearing a grey suit just like the day where I first saw him. His jet black hair is slicked back and his cologne can be smelled from far away.
" Allow me to introduce myself, Mayor. I am Asher Oakwood, the temporary representative of the wizards " he bowed to the mayor.
" I am impressed by your mannerism. Please take a seat, Mr. Oakwood " the mayor said in awe.
" There is no more seats on this room " I said.
" Fame, please take a seat from outside. I apologize for not having an extra seat for you, Mr. Oakwood "
" No problem , my presence is completely unannounced so it must come as a shock for you, Mayor "
" Here it is " Felicia, my step mother, carrying a chair from outside to the meeting room and putting it beside Cynthia.
" Let's discuss the problem, shall we ? "
We carry on with the meeting and phase 2 is done. We just need to do phase 3. When the meeting is finally over, I approach the mayor and have a private chat with her.
" So many unexpected things happen today and they are good ones, Victoria " she said.
" I apologize for not telling you about Asher "
" No, no, it's alright, dearie "
" I already have a candidate to replace your assistant "
" Who is it ? "
" It's me , Mayor " Astoria said.
" Ah, it's you. I wouldn't expect that someone like you is interested in such a position "
" I always want to be your assistant . But, I couldn't bring myself to tell you because I don't think I have what it takes. However, Victoria convince me to go for it. So, if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be here, Mayor " she bowed her head.
" No need to bow, dearie. But, I'll think about it when I get home. Then, I will inform you "
" Really ? That means so much to me. Thank you, Mayor "
" No need to be overly excited. Can you give me her contact, Victoria ? "
" I already send you, Mayor "
" Thank you, Victoria. Off you go, dearies "
" All three phases of the plan worked. I am so happy " Astoria said.
" The plan worked so smoothly " Asher said.
" Thank you for giving back my position. I owe you a lot, Victoria " Cynthia said.
" Yeah, yeah, now let's go home " Astoria and Cynthia go first.
I was about to walk until a hand grip my arm. I look around to find Asher.
" Would you go to dinner with me ? "
