~No one point of view~
A few days had passed, and LucasV had become more familiar with Jumagi village. He had spent a lot of time with Lloyd, who had grown to cherish their moments together. As a gift, LucasV crafted a beautiful diamond necklace in the shape of a dragon, light green in color-Lloyd's favorite. The young boy was thrilled and wore the necklace everywhere he went, holding it dear to his heart.
Lloyd had even started joining LucasV in some of his part-time jobs, like shoveling snow from the roads, which earned him some extra money and, of course, candy from LucasV as a reward. Their bond grew stronger, and on days when they didn't have much time, LucasV would invite Lloyd to his room. Those moments were always warm and fun, moments where Lloyd felt safe, away from the harsh world he knew.
Unbeknownst to LucasV, Lloyd had silently developed a crush on him. He would often try to hide his feelings, but the warmth and care LucasV gave him made it hard to ignore. Lloyd always wore the diamond necklace, feeling like it connected him to the one person he had grown closest to in his life.
At the moment, LucasV was back at the restaurant, working hard and serving different kinds of dessert to the customers. His focus on his tasks made it easy for him to blend into the village, even as his mysterious origins remained unknown to those around him.
~LucasV point of view~
"These past few days, the restaurant has been getting more customers," I muttered to myself, smiling as I watched visitors enjoy the desserts. It felt good knowing people loved the food we served. My thoughts were interrupted by a familiar shout.
"Hey~, Young V!" I turned to see Kailla, the owner of the restaurant, calling out to me. She had taken liking me, treating me like her little brother. She even let me use the kitchen ingredients whenever I wanted to make new dishes or just whip up something for myself when I didn't have time for breakfast.
"Yes? Is there something you need, big sister?" I asked, smiling. At first, I resisted calling her that, but she had begged me so much that I eventually gave in, and now it just felt natural.
"There's a new group of customers, and they need a table for six people," she said, gesturing toward the entrance. I nodded and walked over to guide them, only to freeze for a second when I saw who it was-Lloyd's future teammates, the Ninja, along with Nya and Master Wu.
'No way... they're here...' I thought, stunned, though I kept my expression neutral. As I led them to their table, I could overhear parts of their conversation.
"This place has the best desserts," Jay said excitedly, his eyes already scanning the menu.
"Let's just hope it lives up to your hype," Cole muttered, looking unimpressed but clearly curious.
Master Wu, calm as ever, sat down and nodded to me politely. "Thank you."
I gave a polite nod in return, my mind racing. 'What are they doing here? Are they looking for Lloyd? Or is it just a coincidence?' I thought, but pushed the questions aside for now. I couldn't afford to draw any attention to myself-at least not yet.
I walked toward an empty table for six, guiding them to their seats. Once they settled in, I handed each of them a menu and pulled out my notebook and pen, ready to take their orders. As I stood there, I couldn't help but overhear their whispers about my young age.
"Isn't he a bit young to be working here?" Jay murmured, eyeing me curiously.
"Maybe he's just really good at his job," Nya replied, nudging Jay.
'I can hear you guys, you know...' I thought, resisting the urge to facepalm. But I kept my expression neutral, focusing on the task at hand.
Master Wu cleared his throat, catching my attention. "I'll have some tea, please," he said calmly, his eyes briefly meeting mine. There was a sense of calm wisdom in his gaze, as if he saw more than just a young waiter.
