The Ninja returned to their dragons after their encounter with Lloyd, the tension still hanging in the air. As Kai leapt onto his dragon, his foot landed awkwardly on a bag, causing two scrolls to slip out and tumble to the ground. They fluttered in the breeze before landing at Zane’s feet.

Zane picked up both scrolls and handed one to Kai, who jumped down from his dragon and glanced at the scroll in his hand.

“Huh? I don’t remember putting this here,” Kai said, confused, inspecting the scroll.

“That’s Sensei’s bag,” Zane replied calmly, pointing to the bag attached to Kai’s dragon. “You must have accidentally grabbed it in the rush.”

Jay, always curious, walked over to them and glanced at the scroll. “What’s this all about?”

Kai unrolled the scroll, still looking puzzled. “It’s a windbag scroll,” he said, reading the title on the page.

Jay tilted his head. “I know it’s a scroll, but what does it say? This writing is like chicken scratch.”

Zane corrected him immediately. “Not chicken scratch. This is the ancient language of our ancestors.”

Kai glanced at Zane. “Uh, can you read it?”

Zane raised an eyebrow. “Well, I can try.” He pointed at the first symbol. “This symbol means 'prophecy.'”

“Prophecy?” Jay echoed, his curiosity growing.

“It means it’s telling the future,” Kai added, understanding the significance now.

Jay laughed. “Hahaha, of course I knew that.”

Zane continued reading, his voice steady. “It says, 'One Ninja will rise above the others and become the Green Ninja.'”

“The Green Ninja?” Kai asked, now more intrigued.

Zane continued, pointing at a picture of the Ninja team. “The Ninja destined to defeat the Dark Lord.”

“Oh, look—there’s a picture!” Kai remarked, his focus shifting to the illustration.

Cole, who had been quietly watching, stepped in. “Dark Lord? Hold on, you think it means Lord Garmadon?”

“Wait a minute, is that us?” Kai said, as he, Zane, and Jay leaned in to study the picture closely.

“I don’t know, is anyone else thinking what I’m thinking?” Kai asked, squinting at the scroll.

Zane shook his head. “We’ll see. Let me open the other scroll.”

As Zane carefully unrolled the second scroll, Jay raised an eyebrow. “Thinking like how good I’m gonna be as the Green Ninja, huh? Heh, bet I’ll totally rock it!”

Cole lost interest in the first scroll, stepping over to Zane’s side, intrigued by what the second scroll might reveal. “Zane, what does this one say?” he asked, catching the attention of both Jay and Kai.

Zane read aloud from the second scroll, his voice measured and thoughtful. “This prophecy speaks of a Ninja with cyan and white colors, who will help the other Ninjas in their fight. It says that this Ninja possesses the ability to master all elements, and that their abilities will help the other element masters.”

Jay leaned in, looking intently at the scroll. “Wait, that sounds pretty awesome,” he said, a grin creeping onto his face. “And there’s more? What else?”

Zane continued reading, unfazed. “The prophecy also says that this Ninja has horns, two dragon tails, and four wings.”

Cole, wide-eyed, glanced at the image on the scroll and nodded in admiration. “Wow, look at that! This Ninja has horns and two dragon tails, and four wings. That’s amazing.”

“Yeah, it’s pretty impressive,” Zane agreed, gazing at the picture.

Kai, however, furrowed his brow, feeling slightly uneasy. “But what about the Green Ninja? Isn’t that what this whole prophecy was about?”

The conversation quickly devolved into a lighthearted debate between Kai, Jay, and Zane over who would be the Green Ninja, each of them convinced that they were the most deserving.

Cole, tired of the argument, stepped in with a firm voice. “Stop, you guys! Sensei brought us together to be a team, not to fight over who’s going to be the Green Ninja.”

Kai, Jay, and Zane all paused, realizing the truth in Cole’s words. They had been so caught up in their own personal ambitions that they had lost sight of the bigger picture.

“Right,” Kai said, rolling the scroll back up and sighing. “We’re a team. No one’s got the Green Ninja title just yet.”

Zane nodded. “Exactly. We work together, and together, we’ll find out what this prophecy really means.”

Jay shrugged. “Well, as long as I’m still the best with lightning, I’m good.”

Cole grinned, clapping Jay on the back. “As long as we stick together, we’ll figure it out.”

With their arguments settled—for now—the Ninja turned back toward their dragons than fly to go back to the monastery.

“Okay, I think this is the place,” I muttered to myself as I flew above Ninjago City. The city glistened beneath me, vibrant and full of life. I descended slowly, landing a little distance away from the bustling center. With a quick glance around, I concealed my wings and took a deep breath, starting my walk toward the city with my belongings.

As I moved through the streets, I couldn’t help but admire the towering buildings and the mix of old and new architecture. Neon lights flashed, and the chatter of people surrounded me, making the city feel alive. My eyes scanned for a place to stay, and after a few blocks, I spotted an apartment building that looked affordable.

I walked into the building and approached the front desk. The landlord, an older man with thinning hair and a stern but kind expression, glanced up at me.

“Looking for a place, kid?” he asked, tilting his head.

“Yes,” I replied, checking the price list on the wall. It was reasonable enough, something I could handle for now. I pulled out enough money and handed it to him.

“The front number is the number of the floor, okay, kid?” the landlord said as he handed me the room key.

“Got it,” I said, nodding as I took the key. The number read 555.

I made my way to the elevator and pressed the button for the fifth floor. As the doors closed and the elevator began to move, I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of anxiety.

‘I hope this apartment is a safe place for me before anything bad happens,’ I thought, a bead of sweat forming on my forehead as memories of the Great Devourer’s attack on Ninjago City flashed through my mind. I shook my head, trying to push away the unease.

The elevator chimed, and the doors opened to the fifth floor. I stepped out, ready to find room 555 when I unexpectedly encountered a young girl with white hair and her parents in the hallway. The girl’s eyes, full of curiosity, met mine and she stopped in her tracks.

‘Ah… I just jinxed myself,’ I thought as the girl continued to look at me, an unspoken question in her gaze.
