The grand entrance of a luxurious hotel, buzzing with media and high-profile guests attending the Annual Business Gala. The Manoban family steps out of a sleek car, cameras flashing as Mr. Manoban leads the way, with Mrs. Manoban and their two daughters—Sana and Lisa—behind him.

Mr. Manoban adjusting his tie, turned to his wife and Said

"Stay close. We’re mingling with important people tonight. No mistakes."

Inside the venue, Mr. Manoban immediately starts mingling with other top business figures, introducing his wife and Sana proudly. When it comes to Lisa, he doesn’t even bother.

A businessman curiously looked at Lisa and asked

"And who is this?"

Mr. Manoban said in a dismissive tone.

"Oh, her? She’s just into some crappy photography. Not in the business line."

The group bursts into laughter, while Lisa’s face remains stoic, hiding her hurt. Sana squeezes her hand again, sending a silent message of solidarity.

Sana whispered to Lisa,

"Don’t listen to him. You’re amazing."

Lisa nodded and smiled

" I’ll be fine. I just need a minute. "

Lisa was talking long, but she wasn't back, so Sana was about to go check. That's when the room fell silent as the doors opened, signaling the arrival of the most anticipated guest: Mr. Bang, the elusive business tycoon who never had any public appearances.

Everyone turns, only to see two figures entering—one tall, one short. The tall figure draws immediate attention.

Journalist 1 excitedly said.

"Is that Mr. Bang?"

The pair don’t respond as they approach the crowd, heightening the tension.

Journalist 2 calls out

"Sir, can we have your name?"

Finally, the tall figure turns to face the press.

"I’m...

...Kim Taehyung.

Lee Ji-Eun’s date, Sorry to disappoint. I’m not Mr. Bang."

The collective groan of disappointment ripples through the crowd as they realize the elusive Mr. Bang has not shown up.

Mr. Manoban seized the opportunity, turning to his wife.

"Now’s our chance. I’ll speak to Lee Ji-Eun."

He approaches Ji-Eun, but she initially brushes him off

Deliberately.

Sana and Lisa, who have rejoined the group, exchange amused looks, quietly snorting at their father’s embarrassment.

Mr. Manoban glared at them

Ji-Eun, with a fake smile, spoke.

"Oh, I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you there, Mr. Manoban."

He introduces his family proudly, except for Lisa, who he insults once again.

Mr. Manoban said dismissing Lisa

" And this one… well, she’s into photography. Not much of a businessperson."

Ji-Eun looks taken aback, but not for the reason Mr. Manoban expects. She turns her attention to Lisa, her expression softening.
