Lisa was practically glowing as she helped Jennie unpack the last few boxes in her house. Her friends could all see how excited she was, and of course, no one missed the opportunity to tease her.

Nayeon elbowed Jeongyeon, nodding towards Lisa.

“Look at her, she’s practically floating around. I’ve never seen her this happy.”

Jeongyeon grinned,

“It’s like she’s in a rom-com. I half expect her to break out into song.”

Lisa overheard and shot them a playful glare.

“You guys are so annoying.”

Momo chimed in,

“Hey, we’re just happy for you. Don’t act like you’re not bursting with joy.”

Before Lisa could respond, they heard Jisoo’s voice shout from upstairs,

“Lisa! Where’s the broom?”

Jennie immediately looked suspicious, narrowing her eyes.

“Jisoo unnie… what did you break?”

From upstairs, Jisoo replied,

“Nothing”

Just then, the door opened, and walked Irene with a handsome woman beside her. Lisa’s eyes widened when she recognized the woman as one of the higher-ups from her company. It was Seulgi—someone she’d only known professionally, and now she was standing in her living room with Irene.

Irene beamed and held up her hand, showing off a sparkling ring.

“Everyone, meet Seulgi, my fiancée.”

Jennie, Nayeon, Chaeyoung, and Mina immediately squealed in excitement, practically tackling Irene with hugs.

“Congratulations!”

Jennie shouted, her eyes sparkling as she admired the ring.

Seulgi, still trying to recover from the enthusiastic congratulations, greeted everyone politely. She hugged Jennie, Rosé, Nayeon, and Chaeyoung in turn. When she got to Chaeyoung, Mina slipped her arm around Chaeyoung’s waist and introduced herself proudly.

“Hi, I’m Mina, Chaeng’s girlfriend.”

Seulgi raised an eyebrow and smirked at Chaeyoung.

“Chaeng, you’ve outdone yourself.”

Chaeyoung grinned sheepishly.

“What can I say? I’ve got good taste.”

Jennie took the opportunity to introduce Lisa.

“And this is my girlfriend, Lisa.”

Before Seulgi could reply, Jisoo suddenly grabbed Rosé’s hand and pulled her close.

“And I’m Rosé’s soon-to-be girlfriend!”

She announced dramatically.

Jeongyeon wasn’t about to be left out, so she casually pulled Nayeon into her arms.

“Same here,”

She said, grinning. “I’m Nayeon’s official soon-to-be girlfriend.”

Nayeon rolled her eyes but leaned into Jeongyeon with a smirk.

“God, you’re both so extra.”

Jihyo, the only one still single, crossed her arms, pretending to pout.

“Oh sure, let’s all just pair off and leave me alone. No worries, guys. I’m fine.”

Sana couldn’t resist.
