Aisha dashed outside, her heart racing as she sensed the battle in full swing. The sight that greeted her was intense—Electra, bathed in radiant turquoise energy, stood face to face with her dark clone. "Electra! Are you alright?" Aisha called out, worry etched on her face.
But Electra barely registered the question, her mind locked in combat. She summoned her power with precision. "Energy Resonance!" she shouted, sending a ripple of turquoise energy pulsing through the air. It slammed into Dark Q, pushing her back with a force that seemed to catch the clone off guard.
For a moment, Dark Q staggered, her expression one of genuine surprise. "Okay, okay," she sneered, shaking it off. "You do love to win, I'll give you that." But her eyes gleamed with a cruel intensity. "But you can't fool me. You still haven't completely removed the desire for revenge from your thoughts. Don't you want to make your enemies suffer for what they've done to your friends?"
Electra's breath caught in her throat, the words sinking deep into her mind. Her emotions simmered just below the surface, threatening to boil over, but she held them in check, forcing herself to remain calm. She clenched her fists, not allowing Dark Q's taunts to take root.
"Don't listen to her!" Aisha called, desperation creeping into her voice. "It's just a mind game!"
Electra nodded, her jaw tightening. She turned back to face Dark Q, her eyes burning with resolve. "Sure, I've had thoughts of revenge," she admitted, her voice steady yet defiant. "But that's all they are—just thoughts, nothing more than background noise. I don't let them control me. I don't act on them." She took a step forward, her power surging again. "There's a better way to win. And that way is strategy. Maximum Surge!"
Electra unleashed a series of turquoise light spheres, each one pulsing with her energy. They shot toward Dark Q with unrelenting speed. But the dark clone was swift, dodging the attacks effortlessly. She smirked, twisting mid-air to redirect one of the light spheres straight at Aisha.
The impact hit Aisha hard, and she screamed, her body crumpling under the force.
Electra's heart twisted at the sound, fury bubbling inside her. "Aisha!" she growled, a protective fire igniting in her chest. For a moment, her vision blurred with anger, but she quickly reined it in, humming a single, soothing note to calm herself. She couldn't let Dark Q win—not like this.
Dark Q laughed, her voice echoing as she vanished into thin air. "We'll meet again, Electra. You can't run from what's inside you forever."
Electra stood frozen for a moment, her fists clenched tightly at her sides. But then she turned to Aisha, her expression softening with concern. She knelt beside her cousin, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, Aisha," she whispered, her voice soothing. "We'll get her back eventually. But it will be on our terms, not hers."
Aisha winced but nodded, offering a weak smile through the pain. "We'll strategize," she murmured. "We'll beat her."
Electra nodded, her resolve hardening. "Yes, we will."
