"I really hope the trial goes well," Sunia, Electra's bonded fairy animal, murmured softly. The Shimmer-dragon's majestic white wings fluttered as her voice carried a note of concern.

"Me too," Electra replied, her voice steady, though the tension in her eyes was unmistakable. She gently stroked Sunia's smooth, shimmering scales. "Let's watch from a distance, just in case." With a quick flick of her hand, she summoned a protective spell. "Dome of Frequencies!" she whispered. A patterned turquoise barrier of energy formed around them, its translucent design allowing them to see but remain hidden. The barrier hummed softly, rippling with energy as it surrounded them in safety.

Down below in the courtroom, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation.

"Stormy, come to the witness stand," the judge called out, his voice echoing through the chamber.

Stormy, her usual cocky demeanor slightly muted, strode toward the stand, her icy eyes flicking over the crowd. There was tension in the air, a thick sense that something important hung in the balance.

"Icy, stand by me," the judge instructed next, his gaze briefly sweeping over to the eldest of the Trix.

Icy, always composed, moved gracefully to the judge's side, though her sharp gaze was drawn to Electra. As she looked at the fairy of energy, Icy's eyes narrowed in slight confusion. Electra was different—calmer, more focused than ever before. There was no sign of her past impulsiveness, no visible frustration. Only a steady, serene energy radiated from her as she stood, shielded by her protective dome.

Electra nodded ever so slightly when their eyes met, acknowledging Icy's presence but giving nothing else away. The subtle exchange left Icy unsettled, though she quickly masked it behind her usual stoic expression.

The judge cleared his throat, breaking the silent tension that had settled over the room. "Let the trust trial commence."

Electra leaned back slightly within her barrier, her thoughts buzzing with anticipation. Good luck, Stormy, she thought silently, her gaze fixed on the dark-haired witch. Be direct, but also strategic with your words. This isn't just a test of your power—it's a test of how much you've truly changed.

The trial would be a crucial turning point. And Electra, ever the strategist, knew that the outcome was not only about justice—it was about trust, growth, and the fragile alliances that could shift with a single wrong move.

As the trial began, Electra and Sunia watched from their shimmering dome, knowing that the next few moments would determine not only Stormy's fate but the balance of trust between old enemies and new allies.
