"It was nice being on a mission with you, Stormy," Electra said, offering a warm smile. "We really taught Icy a lesson, and now you three can finally start getting along!"
Stormy returned the smile, a rare look of gratitude softening her features. "I enjoyed your company and friendship, Electra," she replied. "And I'm glad you earned your complete Enchantix powers last year. But I've been curious about something... Why did you change your title to the Fairy of Energy? I hope you don't mind me asking about the whole name-changing thing."
Electra shook her head. "I don't mind at all. You see, I discovered my powers when I was just 16. My mom was thrilled and gave me the title Fairy of Reserved Energy. At first, I didn't really understand it, but she explained that reserved energy is the energy within everything and everyone. It requires mastery, and more importantly, the right mindset to truly control it."
Stormy raised an eyebrow. "The right mindset? You mean, loving to win?"
"Actually, no," Electra replied. "Quite the opposite. My mom once told me something I'll never forget: 'You can lose gracefully to your friends, but when it comes to villains and opponents, you have to hate losing more than you love winning. Don't tolerate defeat for a second. If you lose to them, lash out and demand revenge. Never stop until they get what they deserve.' For the first six years at Alfea, those words shaped how I reacted to failure—aggressively. But that mindset came with a cost. I only had incomplete Enchantix powers for the next three years after graduating. It took me a long time to realize that I needed to love winning more than I hated losing."
Flashback to Season 6, Episode 26:
Electra pulled all her friends into a tight group hug. "Thank you so much for helping me understand what it really means to wait for the right moment to strike," she said gratefully. "You were right—it's all about strategy. Patience alone isn't enough; you need a plan to win."
"Anytime, cousin," Aisha replied with a smile.
Electra looked thoughtful. "Now that I've reflected on all the losses we've faced, I see that my mom was wrong. It's not about hating to lose. In fact, I've realized that I love winning more than I ever hated losing. That's the mindset I choose now: a mindset of loving to win."
Just then, Electra noticed a soft light glowing from her chest. "Hey, what's that?" she exclaimed, looking down in surprise.
She rushed into Alfea, her friends following close behind. Alysha and Bloom exchanged knowing glances, filled with excitement.
"Headmistress!" Electra called, bursting into Faragonda's office.
Faragonda looked up from her desk, a knowing smile on her face. "Yes, Electra?"
"What's this light shining from my heart?" Electra asked breathlessly.
Faragonda's smile widened. "That light can only mean one thing, dear."
Just then, Alysha and Bloom arrived, anticipation buzzing between them.
"Yes, Headmistress?" Electra asked, excitement building.
"Electra," Faragonda said with pride in her voice, "after three years of growth, the time has come. You have earned your complete Enchantix powers."
Electra, Alysha, and Bloom squealed in joy at the revelation.
"Thank you so much!" Electra beamed.
Faragonda stood and approached her. "I wanted you to experience the meaning of timing and strategy for yourself. Now that you've embraced loving to win over hating to lose, it has unlocked your full Enchantix potential. You are no longer the Fairy of Reserved Energy. You are now officially the Fairy of Energy. We are all so proud of you."
Electra exhaled deeply, a wave of relief and joy washing over her. She had finally earned her complete Enchantix powers and embraced the mindset that truly resonated with her heart.
End of flashback.
Stormy clapped slowly, clearly impressed. "That was a powerful journey," she commented.
"Thanks," Electra said, smiling. "Remember when we were in the trial mini-world? You didn't succeed in the trust trial, and I know you expected me to react aggressively. But I didn't. I just hummed a note and came up with a better plan for us to reach your goal. That's what loving to win is all about. You're not fazed by failure because you see every setback as an opportunity to grow."
Stormy tilted her head slightly. "So... where are we going with this?"
Electra's eyes sparkled with a mischievous smile. "Now, can you tell me where Darcy is?"
Stormy raised an eyebrow. "Why do you want to know?"
"Because," Electra said confidently, "I'm going to give her hearing back."
