chapter 17: Bonding with Sunia, part 1

Stormy studied Electra with a flicker of curiosity in her eyes. "So, how did you end up bonding with Sunia?" she asked, her voice laced with intrigue.

Electra sighed, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. "It wasn't easy," she admitted. "But it was worth every challenge. Sunia is the most incredible creature I've ever bonded with."

Flashback to Season 7, Episode 5 (after Bloom's team traveled back to the prehistoric magic era):

Roxy, with her usual serene confidence, turned toward Electra, Alysha, and Natalie. "As for you three," she began, her voice filled with quiet certainty, "I sense one of you will bond with a fairy animal that shares your elemental energy. There's a species of magical creatures known as Shimmer-dragons. They harness the power of pure energy. But they won't bond with just anyone. They need to sense that you're on the same frequency—completely in sync with their energy."

"Shimmer-dragons?" Natalie raised an eyebrow. "Are they still around?"

"They were, long ago. But to find them, you'd need to go back to Energy City's past," Roxy explained, her gaze steady.

Electra exchanged a determined look with Alysha and Natalie. The challenge excited her. "Thank you, Roxy," she said with a nod. Without hesitation, she summoned her stone of memories, the key to their journey. Its radiant glow reflected her growing anticipation. "Let's go, girls!"

Electra's stone shimmered in a stunning topaz blue, vibrant and full of energy. Alysha's stone glowed with a rich, glossy amethyst hue, while Natalie's sparkled like a dazzling opal, each stone a powerful reminder of their bond and their shared history from when they first acquired Pyrix.

The three girls gripped their stones, the magic within them swirling to life, preparing them for the adventure that lay ahead as they traveled back to Energy City's past.
