On Andros, a flicker of blue light appeared on the horizon. Aisha noticed it immediately and dashed over to investigate.
When she arrived, she found herself facing an unexpected duo—Electra and Stormy.
Aisha's eyes widened in shock. "Electra! And... Stormy? Aren't you two supposed to be enemies?"
Electra nodded, a hint of understanding in her gaze. "I know this is a surprise, cousin, but we've found common ground. We're... let's say, allies for now."
Aisha tilted her head, eyebrows knitting together in concern. "Didn't you once take away Stormy's hearing?"
Electra gave a small, regretful nod. "Yes, but I gave it back. I realized that I'd acted out of anger. I've also restored Darcy's hearing recently, and I'm working on when and how to do the same for Icy."
Aisha looked thoughtful for a moment, then nodded in understanding.
Just then, a sudden chill ran down Electra's spine. A swarm of ominous, dark butterflies emerged from the shadows, darting straight at them. She and Aisha quickly dodged out of their path.
Electra turned to Aisha with a determined smile. "Ready?"
Aisha gave a quick nod, and with Stormy by their side, all three summoned their powers in unison, shouting, "Pyrix!"
"Aisha, Fairy of Waves!" Aisha's voice rang out.
"Electra, Fairy of Energy!" Electra declared boldly.
"Stormy, Witch of Storms!" Stormy bellowed, her voice echoing through the air.
Standing strong together, they braced themselves as the evil butterflies closed in. Stormy was the first to launch an attack. "Thunder Shock!" Bolts of electricity crackled out from her hands, but the butterflies merely swirled around it, unfazed.
"Plasma Shockwaves!" Aisha cried out next, sending waves of pink energy through the swarm. The butterflies dispersed momentarily but quickly regrouped, undeterred.
Electra exchanged a calm smile with Aisha. "I've got an idea," she whispered. "We need to work together for a convergence spell. Only then can we overpower them."
Aisha nodded. "Let's do it!"
Electra extended her hand and shouted, "Radiant Energy!"
"Aquatic Surge!" Aisha added, conjuring waves of intense water energy.
"Howling Storm!" Stormy thundered, releasing spirals of purple lightning.
Their combined powers—turquoise energy, surging water, and crackling lightning—collided with the butterflies, obliterating them in a brilliant flash.
As the last butterfly vanished, the three shared triumphant high fives before returning to their normal attire. Electra, as usual, gravitated toward a bench by the water, where she sat down to jot down the events in her journal.
Aisha chuckled, watching her cousin write. "There goes Electra, off to reflect," she said with a smile. She turned to Stormy, her expression softening. "I'm honestly impressed that Electra built a friendship with you, Stormy. Usually, Alfea fairies and Cloud Tower witches keep their distance. Aside from Flora and Mirta, I thought that kind of friendship was impossible."
Stormy gave a small, thoughtful smile, idly twirling a strand of her gray Afro. "Electra helped me see that even the darkest enemies have some light in them. Maybe we're not so different after all. And... I wanted to say I'm sorry for what I did to your planet back in Year 3. Valtor had a hold on me then."
Aisha's cerulean eyes softened in surprise. "I forgive you," she replied sincerely. "As long as it doesn't happen again. Promise?"
Stormy nodded, sealing a quiet truce with a single look.
