Leni glanced towards the camera with a warm smile and waved cheerfully. "Hi!" she greeted, her expression filled with affection.
"My gosh, It's so beautiful." Risa's eyes were captivated by the breathtaking city lights that lay before her. "I could stare at this forever," she confessed, her gaze fixated on the radiant spectacle before her as she records the view.
Leni chuckled, her arms encircling Risa's waist in a loving embrace. "Well, mas maganda ka pa rin naman.."
A burst of laughter escaped Risa's lips as she held the camera, capturing the moment. "Jusko, Leonor. Apat na taon na tayo, bolera ka pa rin."
"Kailan pa kita binola, huh?"
"Ay, nako. Ewan ko sa'yo, Leni."
"It's true, ah. I can also stare at you forever if you want.."
"Umayos ka, Leonor. Sinasabi ko sa'yo."
Leni let out a chuckle and pulled her girlfriend close, their bodies pressed against each other. She then glanced at her watch, taking note of the time.
12:00AM
"Happy 4th Anniversary, Pangga.."
"Happy 4th Anniversary, 'ga. I love you.."
"I know.."
"Ay, hindi mo sasabihin?"
"Siyempre, alam mo na 'yun.."
"Leonor, isa!"
"Ito na nga po eh. I love you so so so so so much, pangga.."
The dim light from the television casting shadows across the room. In Risa's hands, her phone displayed the video of her and her girlfriend. Her eyes welled up with tears as she watched the clip.
"P-Pangga..." Risa's hand gently touched the screen, her fingers tracing the image of Leni. She couldn't help but reminisce about the memories they had shared. The laughter, the tears, the intimate moments, and the countless adventures they had been on together.
"My life feels incomplete since you left me.. I'm sorry, pangga. I should've done something.. I miss you so bad.." The weight of her grief and guilt pressed down upon her as she spoke, a deep sense of regret and longing welling up within her. Apologizing to the screen, she voiced the undying love that still burned within her heart, even though fate had cruelly separated them as Leni had lost her life in a devastating car accident the day before their fifth anniversary.
