Risa found herself gazing at the Christmas tree she had adorned with decorations, her thoughts drifting to her wife. A pang of longing filled her heart, and she couldn't help but imagine how much more enjoyable it would have been to decorate the tree together with Leni. Unfortunately, her wife was currently out of the country for some reason.

Risa reached for her phone, her desire to connect with her wife prompting her to make a call. She lifted the phone and dialed her wife's number, patiently waiting to hear her voice on the other end.

"Pangga, napatawag ka. Why? Something wrong?"

Risa frowned. "Bawal ko na ba tawagan ang asawa ko?"

"W-What?" Leni let out a chuckle. "I mean- 'di ba gabi na d'yan? Why are you still awake?"

"Pangga.."

"Yes po, pangga?"

"I miss you.." Risa pouted, as if her wife could see it from the other line.

Leni let out a chuckle. "Don't worry, onting tiis nalang. Babalik din ako d'yan."

"Ang tagal pa.."

"3 days? Mabilis na 'yun.."

"Ewan ko sa'yo, parang hindi mo naman ata ako miss."

"..."

"Leni?"

"..."

"Pangga? Still there?"

"Open the door.."

"W-What?"

"I said, open your door."

Risa hastily made her way to the door, her eyes widening with surprise as she hurriedly grabbed the handle. As she swung open the door, a woman holding a vibrant bouquet of flowers stood before her, a warm smile on her face.

Leni let out a cheerful and somewhat amused smile as she continued to hold the phone to her ear with one hand and the bouquet in the other. "Surprise?" she said, her voice filled with warmth and affection.

"Pangga!" Risa exclaimed in excitement as she swiftly wrapped her arms around Leni's shoulders, pulling her into a tight embrace. Leni let out a soft chuckle and returned the hug, her smile growing wider as she held her wife close

"I missed you more, Pangga." Leni caresses her wife's back.

As they stood in a tight embrace, Leni felt Risa's shoulders beginning to shake. "Are you crying?" Leni queried, her voice laced with concern. She was about to pull away from the hug when instead, Risa pressed her face even further into Leni's neck, seeking comfort.

"Pangga.." Leni let out a chuckle. "Stop crying, I'm here na oh.."

"Ikaw kasi.." Risa murmured, sobbing. "You said next week ka pa.."

"I wanted to surprised you na katabi mo na 'ko paggising mo eh kaso gising ka pa pala.."

"Nakakainis ka.."

"I love you."

"I love you too.."
