"Ma'am Hontiveros," A woman peaks on the teacher's door. "Lunch na po, sasama po ba kayo?"
The teacher removed her glasses then looks at the other teacher. "Opo, Ma'am Loren. Mauna na lang kayo sa cafeteria, may aayusin lang ako saglit."
"Sige po, maam. See you po!" Ma'am Loren bid her goodbye but eventually stopped when she remembers something. "Ay, oo nga po pala. Si Ma'am Gerona po sasama saatin. Inaya ni Sir Kiks eh, ang kulit."
That made Ma'am Hontiveros widened her eyes. Sasama pala, huh? "Isn't she busy?"
"Ayon nga po ang ipinagtataka namin eh, bigla nalang po pumayag. Sige na po, maam. See you po mamaya!"
Ma'am Loren went out after that and Ma'am Hontiveros immediately fixed and arranged all of her paperworks and folders bago lumabas at pumunta sa cafeteria.

"Ma'am Hontiveros! Akala ko 'di makakahabol eh," Ma'am Lei chuckles when Theresia sat beside her, across her was the Chairperson of Filipino Department, Ma'am Gerona.
Their table was filled with laughters and chuckles. The other teachers also shared some stories which made Theresia laughed endlessly. One thing the teachers noticed for sure- the chairperson wasn't talking too much. Ma'am Hontiveros already knew pero anong magagawa niya?
"Antahimik naman natin diyaan, Ma'am Gerona," Sir Chel stated, earning a stare from Ma'am Lei. As if reminding him that he's not just talking to a teacher, but the Chairperson of Filipino Department. Chel cleared his throat. "Wala ka po bang kwento diyaan?"
"No, I'm fine," Leonor chuckles, grabbing the glass of water on the table. "Okay na 'ko sa mga kwento niyo."
Ma'am Loren interrupts. "Sayang, wala po kasi si Sir Reyes."
Leonor almost spit out the water after hearing Loren's words.
"Nako, oo nga. Close po pala kayong dalawa 'no, maam?" Sir Kiks butted in. "May sinabi po ba si Sir Reyes sainyo kung bakit siya wala ngayon?"
Leonor immediately shook her head as answer. "No, wala naman. It's been a week since we had conversation, actually."
"Naalala ko pa po nung foundation week! Grabe po kayong dalawa n'on, halos 'di na mapaghiwalay!"
Leonor took out a deep breath and laughed awkwardly. "O-Of course, same department kami. Magkakasama talaga ang mga Filipino teachers."
The teacher, sitting across Leonor, just gave her a deadly stare. Sir Reyes pala, ha. Theresia cleared her throat, making their conversation stopped. "I'm sorry. May class pa pala ako sa 4th floor, kailangan ko nang umalis."
"Sure po, ma'am. Babalik na rin po kami."

5:21PM.
Theresia was about to open the car by grabbing the handle when a hand immediately blocked and stopped her. She immediately looked beside her.
"What do you think you're doing?" Theresia raises a brow.
"Are you still going to keep avoiding me until next week, Ma'am Hontiveros?" Leonor removes her hand on the car and puts her hand on her pocket. The other teacher just gave her a look before reaching for her car again but Leonor was quick to pushed the door, earning the most coldest look from Theresia.
"Umalis ka sa harap ko, Leonor."
"Theresia." Leonor, again.
"Umalis ka na."
"No."
"Leo-"
"Pangga.." Leonor bit her lowerlip, cutting off Theresia's words. The older woman took a step forward to get closer to the woman, slowly reaching for her hand. "I'm sorry na, 'ga. Alam kong galit ka pa rin saakin since foundation week pa pero alam mo namang hindi kita kayang tiisin, 'di ba?"
Risa stares at her. "Really, huh? It's been 3 days since huli tayong nag-usap. Paanong hindi mo 'ko kayang tiisin?"
"Because you keep avoiding me! Ayoko namang mas magalit ka pa lalo na't lapit nang lapit si Sir Reyes saakin. You keep avoiding my messages din," Leonor squeezed her girlfriend's hand. "Sorry na, mhh? I already told him everything."
Theresia remained silent.
"Bati na tayo, ha? Don't worry about the other teachers, sinabi ko na rin sa kanila kanina bago kita sundan dito sa parking lot. Sinabi ko na para hindi na sila magsabi ng kung ano-ano at para maging comfortable ka around them. Selosa ka pa naman."
"What? No!" Theresia defended. "Ikaw kasi eh. Bakit mo kasi hinahayaang lapitan ka noong lalaking 'yon? Nakakainis kaya siya."
"Oh, hindi na. 'Wag ka na magalit," The older woman chuckles. She slowly wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's waist which Theresia immediately reciprocated. "Sorry na talaga. You don't know how much I missed you, 'ga."
Theresia pouted, resting her chin on her girlfriend's shoulder. "I love you too."
The older woman chuckled at the younger woman's response. She starts giving pats on her back, still embracing each other. "I love you more."
Theresia buries her face on her girlfriend's neck and chuckled. "Sir Reyes pala, ha."
"Tama na," Leonor warned her. "Ikaw pa 'tong nang-aasar saakin tapos magseselos ka."
Theresia frowned, letting go of the hug and looks at her girlfriend. "Because you're mine.. mine only."
"I know," Leonor couldn't help but chuckle, pulling her girlfriend for another embrace. "Let's go home na? I prepared something for you."
"Sure. Let's go home."
