Michael's POV

Shitty is the only word that can describe this last month accurately. Life has just been really, really shitty. Ashton won't tell me why Luke left school and stopped talking to me, but I don't really care anymore. Okay that's a lie, I care, a lot. I care way to much and it fucking hurts.

Harry has been the only one helping me through this and has been there constantly. He some how turned into my best friend after we broke up but I wouldn't change it for the world.

I've basically spent the last month sleeping, going to school, and hanging out with Harry. That's literally it. It's funny though, Luke said he would always be here right before Harry and I broke up, but look at us now.

"Stop thinking." Harry punched my shoulder.

"Stop punching me then." I said then kicked him.

"Be happy, we only have have a couple weeks left of school and we'll out of here forever." He smiled. Harry always managed to look at the positives side of things some how. I wish I could do that.

"I know, then we go to college." I sighed. I really wasn't looking forward to four more years of school but if I wanted a good job then I needed to go to college.

"College is going to be great though, but right now we're going out." He stood up and pulled me up bestie him.

"Where?" I asked as I followed him out to my truck. I had some how ended up being his personal chauffeur but it's not like I'm care though.

"To the fair, it closes tonight and I want to go before it closes." He said as we got into the truck.

"Is anyone else going?" I asked as I started driving towards the place it was being held at. I haven't been to the fair in at least ten years. The last time I went was with my mom and dad when I was like seven or eight.

"Ashton, Calum, and Louis I think." He shrugged, "I invited Ashton and told him to invite whoever."

"Great." I mumbled. Louis and I didn't hate each other anymore, but we weren't necessarily friends either.

"What?" Harry started messing with that radio and I sighed.

"Nothing." I parked the truck in the parking lot and Harry immediately jumped out.

I followed him up to the ticket booth and he quickly paid for them without me noticing.

"Harry, you did not just pay for my ticket." I walked beside him as he left the ticket both and headed to where all the rides were.

"Yes i did, now shut up." He continued walking until we stopped in front of Ashton, Calum, and Louis.

"Mikey, you look like shit." Calum wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in for a tight hug.

"Thanks, Cal." I mumbled into his shoulder.

"Your welcome." He smiled then went back to standing beside Ashton. Harry looked at them with confusion written in his eyes but Ashton just gave him a look.

"Let's go get some food before we ride anything." Louis suggested and we all agreed. Ashton went to buy a pizza as the rest of us went and sat at a picnic table. This place is freaking packed. There is literally people everywhere and the lines are freaking huge. I seriously don't feel like being here.

"Michael," Harry waved his hand in front of my face, "Are you alive in there?"

"No, I'm dead." I rolled my eyes as he leaned back into his seat.

"We need to fix that." Harry said as Ashton came back with the pizza. We all grabbed a piece and the whole pizza disappeared quickly. One pizza is not enough for four teenage boys, but I think Ashton didn't get two so we didn't end up puking on the rides. That would really suck. Ashton's phone started ringing so he quickly walked away to take the call in private. We all chattered aimlessly until Ashton came back a couple minutes later with an extra person. I really should've known that it would be Luke.
