Michael's POV

"Michael, what the fuck are you doing?" Luke laughed while staring at me as I stood on the chair. There was a huge spider on the ground and I'm not letting it get near me.

"I'm saving myself," I stated, "I'm not letting that thing kill me."

"It's not going to kill you, Mikey. But I'll save you from the spider since its kind of my job as your boyfriend." He grabbed his shoe and started heading towards the demon.

"Don't let it kill you." I stared as he hit the spider with the shoe a couple times leaving spider guts on the floor.

"I'm not cleaning it up!" I screamed then ran from the room. Of course I managed to fall off the chair in the process but that's not important.

"Babe, you okay?" Luke came into the room looking concerned.

"I fell off a chair, it's not like I died, Luke."

"I know, but you could've been hurt." He grabbed my arm and dragged me over to the couch.

"Lukeeeeeee." I sat next to him and threw my legs over his.

"Whaaaatttt?" He mimicked me.

"You don't need to worry about me."

"Yes I do, because if I don't then who will?"

"No one, that's how it's always been." I grabbed the remote from beside me and turned on the tv.

"It's never going to be like that again, so you better get used to this." He snatched the remote from my hand and started flipping through the channels.

"You sure about that, Hemmings?"

"Pretty sure, Clifford."

/// A Year Later ///

"Hey Luke." I poked his cheek.

"Hey Michael." He mumbled half asleep.

"Guess what"

"I'm not guessing."

"We got married a year ago today." I climbed on top of him so that I was straddling his waist.

"I'm quite aware of that considering you wouldn't stop talking about it yesterday." He opened his eyes and stared up at me.

"We've gotta celebrate that you've dealt with me for a year."

"It's been much longer than a year." He sat up and pressed his lips to mine. I pulled away after what felt like forever and got off of him.

"I'm gonna go find Ashton and Calum." I walked towards the door. Hopefully they haven't trashed the house yet. I swear ever since we moved in they're always here constantly and I always wake up to a mess.

When Luke and I decided we were going to get married, the next day he decided that we should elope. So we packed up our stuff and dragged Ashton and Calum with us to Vegas. We obviously had the best wedding ever.

"Michael!" Ashton screamed as I walked into the kitchen.

"What's the point of screaming." I sat down on a bar stool and took Ashton's drink that was sitting in front of him. He glared at me as I drank the rest of it and I smile as I set the empty cup back down in front of him.

"What are you guys doing today to celebrate your anniversary?" Calum asked and I shrugged.

"I honestly have no clue. Luke said he was planning something."

"Luke's plans aren't always the best." Ashton said and I nodded.

"Remember when he decided we were going to go camping and he forgot everything. We slept in the car for three days." Calum cringed at the memory and I smiled.

"That was still a great weekend." I said as Luke walked into the room.

"Luke!" Ashton screamed. Luke walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me.

"What are you guys talking about?" Luke asked reading his chin on the top of my head.

"The plans that you won't tell me about." I said.

"Speaking of those plans, you need to get dressed." He moved and pulled me off of the chair as I glared at him. I ran up to our room and grabbed a pair of jeans and pulled them on. I grabbed a shirt from the floor and threw it on. I'm pretty sure this shirt is Luke's but who cares. He wears my clothes all the time. I ran my fingers threw my hair to make it look normal then put my shoes on. I went back downstairs where everyone was to see them all talking. Of course they immediately stopped when I walked in the room.

"Luke hurry up so I can know what these plans are." I mumbled and crossed my arms. Luke smiled and grabbed my hand then pulled my outside to his car.

"When am I gonna find out where we're going?" I asked and he didn't answer. He just started driving to who knows where.

After a couple hours, he finally stopped in front this cabin looking thing in the woods.

"Are you trying to kill me?" I asked turning towards him.

"I bring you here to get away from everyone and you think I'm going to kill you?" He shook his head then got out of the car. I followed him to the house but he stopped at the door.

"Remember when I said I'd always be there to worry about you?" He asked.

I nodded slowly as he smiled. "I totally didn't lie when I said that."

"I don't think you've ever lied to me." He probably has but I probably never realized it.

"That's because I haven't."

"Where are you going with this, Luke?" I asked.

"I don't know, I just thought I'd remind you that I'll always be there." He wrapped his fingers around mine and opened the door.

"I'm pretty sure I realized that when we got married."

"I realized a lot of things on that day." He said as we walked inside.

"Like what?"

"The annoying guy who came in the vinyl shop that day was mine forever." He said looking over at me.

"Because I'm awesome obviously." I said and he shook his head.

"Your great at ruining a moment, Michael."

"But you love me anyways."

"That is very true."
