Red & Chloe

Shattered

The next day, hook left, red and Chloe slept in reds bed, and Ruby slept in Chloe's bed.

Reds POV

Chloes alarm went off, waking me, well I was already awake, but the alarm pulled me out of my thoughts. Chloe sat up yawning and stretching her arms out.

As I laid on my back looking at the ceiling, I glanced over at Ruby, I feel like I should like her, but I just don't. "Princess?" Chloe said in a tired tone "Yea?" I responded "did you even go to sleep?" "Yea..." I hesitated "don't lie to me" "fine, no" she looked disappointed, "Princess, we have school today" "I'm skipping" I said as I got out of bed. Before she could respond I went to the bathroom, "red!" 0was all she got out, well it's all i heard.

After I got done getting ready in the bath I went back out to see Chloe at her desk doing work, and Ruby still asleep.

I went to sit back on my bed, just to scroll only phone. After a few minutes the breakfast bell rang, which woke up Ruby.
"What's that sound" she spoke, "breakfast bell, wanna come eat with us?" Chloe answered her question, "yea, sure!".

A few minutes later we went to the lunch room. Chloe held my hand the whole way. She went to get breakfast with Ruby, while I found us a table isolated away from everyone else, it could hold 6 people on each side, and it was against a wall, which made it 10x better. I sat against the wall

I scrolled on my phone chloe would come back, though I wasn't really excited for ruby, I just don't trust her. Somehow she knew I ODed, and we have the same slits on our wrist, but there has to be more to the story.

Chloe came back and sat on the same side as me, and Ruby sat on the other side. It was silent, and awkward. So I decided to text our friend group, Morgie, hook, Bridget, and Ella. "Red, get off your phone" Chloe whispered at me, "hold on" I responded.

I placed my phone down showing the case, my phone case was red, with a dark red heart on it, which fits me perfect.

Rb- so... what's the history with you two?!

R- none of your damn business.

C- princess!

R- what!

Chloe glared at me, but it's still none of Rubys business, but knowing Chloe, she's gonna tell her anyways.

Rb- Chloe, right?

C- yeah

Rb- so let me get this straight, yall are broken up, but still best friends?

C- yep

Rb- I dont get it, so, if ok to ask, who broke up with who, and why

I shifted uncomfortably. I zoned out while Chloe and Ruby were talking, my main focus was on the window a few feet away. There were trees, flowers, and lots of plants, but they don't talk, which is sad.

Breakfast so so boring, the others should be here by now, I can't just sit here and listen to them talk.

Hook and the others finally came.

Hook at in front of me, and Morgie sat in between him and Ruby, while Ella and Bridget sat on the same side as us.
