On Goob's first day in a new highschool, he meets a grumpy shrimp. Day after day, the two opposites eventually become closer and closer.

Scraps turned to Goob in the row beside her. "Today is me and Poppy's sleepover! It's gonna start at 6pm. Also, Brightney and Tisha might come too." Scraps happily discussed. "Can I invite some more people?" Goob asked. "Yes you should!" Scraps agreed. 'I can already tell that he's gonna invite that shrimp.' Scraps thought to herself, smirking. Goob turned to Shrimpo sitting next to him. "So, do you wanna go to the sleepover? You heard who was there right?" Goob questioned. "Yea, I can go. All I've been doing is staying home anyway." Shrimpo answered. "Yay!" Goob cheered. Then, he went on his knees and looked at the seat behind him, which was where Finn was sitting. Finn looked up at Goob. "Heya Goob!" Finn beamed. "Hi! Do you want to go to a sleepover tonight at my house at 6pm?" Goob asked. "Dolphin-itley!" Finn exclaimed. Goob laughed. "Ok, I'll see you there!"
- At 5:15 pm -
Shrimpo walked in to his house and saw Teagan and Toodles again. He forgot the day when his mom said she would come back. "When is my mom coming back home?" Shrimpo questioned. "She's coming back any minute now, she just texted me she's driving back from her work trip." Teagan responded. "Oh, ok. Can I go to a sleepover at 6pm today?" Shrimpo reluctantly asked. "Wow, you made some more friends huh?" Teagan said, sounding surprised like he's never made any friends. Shrimpo sighed in annoyance as he crossed his arms. "Yes... so can I go?" He grumbled. "Yes, you may go. You better start packing then." Teagan reminded. Toodles then stood infront of Shrimpo and looked up at him. "Hey, can I go too?" Toodles begged. "I wanna go! I wanna go!" "Can you take her?" Teagan pleaded. "... Fine." Shrimpo huffed as Toodles cheered.
She followed Shrimpo to his room to help him pack. "It's gonna be so much fun!" Toodles sang happily. "But don't be too annoying." Shrimpo demanded. "Huhh? But I'm not even annoying!" Toodles giggled. Shrimpo eventually got done packing and helped Toodles pack her stuff. When they walked back to the living room, Shrimpo saw his mom, Sabi. "Oh, hello my son!" Sabi ran over to Shrimpo and gave him a big hug. She then noticed that he and Toodles had packed bags. "Where are you two going?" Sabi questioned. "My mom said that we can go to a sleepover at Shrimpo's friend's house!" Toodles excitedly announced. "It's close by here so we can walk." Shrimpo added. "Ah, ok then. Have fun!" Sabi and Teagan waved as Shrimpo and Toodles walked out of the door. "Shrimpo has never been invited to a sleepover before. I'm happy that he's making more friends." Sabi said, deep in thought. "Yea, me too." Teagan agreed.
On the walk there, Shrimpo kept on thinking why is he so nice to Goob. Why did he even say yes to go to this sleepover? Why did he even continue to be friends with that craft? He hated that he felt this way. But, he just couldn't stay mad at Goob after he gave him that hug. Nobody has ever made Shrimpo feel that way. And with all the compliments he gave him... wait. Shrimpo suddenly paused in his tracks. "Huh? Shrimpo, what's wrong?" Toodles asked as she walked back to Shrimpo. He felt his face slowly warm up. Does he... Shrimpo quickly shook his head and looked back at Toodles. "No, I'm ok. Let's continue walking."
- At 5:30pm -
"So, we're all gonna sleep in the living room?" Scraps asked. "Yes, isn't that what a sleepover is about? So we can all talk and have fun in one place!" Goob excitedly explained. "Ok then, we can all sleep in the living room." Scraps agreed. "I'm gonna go get the floor mattresses from the closet." "Ok, I'll help." Goob followed Scraps and helped lay out the mattresses. "So, who do you plan to sleep next to huh?" Scraps mischievously asked Goob. "Come on, I know you know who I'm gonna say already." Goob replied as he sighed. "Yes, it's Shrimpo, so what? He's my friend and NOTHING else." Goob explained once again, trying to hide what he truly feels. Scraps pulled up that one picture of Goob and Shrimpo sleeping on the bus with a huge grin. "Ha, what's this then?" Goob finally gave in. "Ok fine. I like him." Scraps screamed so loud the next country over could probably hear her. "I'm your biggest supporter ok?!" Scraps exclaimed as her eyes sparkled. "Ok, ok." Goob tiredly said. The doorbell then rang.
Goob went to the door, hoping it was who he thought it was. As if he knew, Shrimpo was there at the door. "Hi Shrimpo!!" Goob beamed as he wrapped his arms around him. He then saw a small little girl in the corner of his eye. He immediately let go of Shrimpo, feeling embarrassed that he was that excited to see him that he didn't see her. "Uh.. hi Shrimpo's friend! My name is Toodles!" Toodles happily introduced. "Sorry, I didn't see you there! My name is Goob." Goob greeted with a smile. "Come and sit down on the couch, the others should arrive soon." Poppy, Brightney, Tisha, and Finn showed up a few minutes later. They all set up their sleeping bags in the living room, then they settled down and formed a circle. By now, the sun was setting.
"So guys, what should we do first?" Tisha started out. "I wanna play hide and seek!" Toodles suggested. Everyone exchanged looks with each other. "Uhh, ok, we can play hide and seek. Right?" Goob asked as he looked around. "I'm down!" Finn accepted. "Me too!" Poppy added. "I guess I could play, even though it's a bit childish." Tisha says as Brightney and Scraps nodded. "Ok, I'll count for 1 minute. You guys go hide." Scraps says as everyone scurries around the house. Shrimpo quickly went inside this closet, sitting behind the door. A few seconds after he closed the door, the doorknob began rapidly shaking. "Who the hell is that?!" Shrimpo whisper-shouted. He then heard a familiar voice. "Shrimpo, let me in!!"
He quickly opened the door and Goob came falling in. "Wasn't there anywhere else to hide?" Shrimpo asked as Goob stood up. "Everyone took the hiding spots I usually hide in, so I went to my last option and you were already in here. So, I guess I'm hiding here now." Goob quietly explained. "Ready or not, here I come!" Scraps shouted. Goob and Shrimpo sat together in a corner of the closet, the clothes on the racks covering them. The darkness of the closet made Goob feel kinda tired. He gently put leaned his head on Shrimpo's as he closed his eyes. "... What are you doing?" Shrimpo mumbled as he felt his face warm up. "Mm, just a bit tired. I feel comfortable right now." Goob replied as he dozed off. 'Wow, he fell asleep quickly.' Shrimpo thought to himself. 'It won't hurt to just fall asleep too.' Shrimpo leaned on Goob and closed his eyes too, falling asleep.
Scraps has found everyone except Goob and Shrimpo. "I haven't checked the closet yet!" Scraps sprinted to the closet and opened the door. She noticed Goob's hand peeking out of the rack of clothes. "Hehe.. I'VE GOT—" She immediately covers her mouth with her hands and starts jumping around, giggling like a crazy person. "What the hell are you doing.." Tisha asked as she walks in. "Oh not this again." "BRIGHTNEY GET MY PHONE!!" "Here!" "... what the.." Shrimpo slowly woke up and saw a bunch of blinding flashes in his face. "ARE YOU FREAKING TAKING PICTURES?!!" Shrimpo angrily yelled as he slowly turned red. "Huh? What's happening?" Goob mumbled as he opened his eyes. "SCRAPS WHY ARE YOU TAKING PICTURES AGAIN?!" Goob and Shrimpo quickly sat up and stood infront of Scraps, looking annoyed and embarrassed. "Ok my bad, I'm sorry!" Scraps apologized. "Let's go back to the living room."
Everyone followed and sat back down on their sleeping bags. They saw Poppy and Finn watching over Toodles, who was already sleeping. "Hehe, she got tired already." Poppy giggled. Brightney checked the time. "It's 7pm already. What else should we do?" She questioned. "I wanna try baking something." Tisha suggested. "That's not a bad idea, it sounds fin!" Finn joked. Everyone agrees and stands up to go to the kitchen. "Do you think it's gonna be fun?" Goob quietly asked Shrimpo. "I'm kind of good at cooking and baking so I guess." Shrimpo answered. Goob then warmly smiled. "Hehe, cant wait to try it."
