Noah's diary

"Yeah... a diary, what a great idea in a spy school, nothing to say. Besides, they're the ones who told me to do it to, and I quote: "Learn how to write down what I'm feeling". How I feel? Boredom. Anyway... first things first. Some time after Ridiculous Race, a secret organization called "The Eagles' Nest" approached me and asked if I'd like to join their spy organization. Apparently, during TDI, TDWT and RR, I proved to be an intelligent and observant person. I accepted for 3 good reasons:

1. It gets me away from my brothers and sisters

2. It keeps me away from my "friends" Owen, Eva and Izzy.

3. I had nothing else to do after my break-up with Emma, who wanted to concentrate on her studies.

So I took the entrance tests, worthy of kindergarten by the way (except for one part of the test which is boring), and obtained, apparently, the best score in a long time. With this score, which isn't that hard to get, I wasn't assigned a partner for my missions. So I carried out several of them, which mainly consisted in stealing or deleting information and finding intelligence. Really boring stuff. So after several missions even more boring than Harold's information (and that's almost impossible), I was given some "good" news. "Noah, we've got some good news for you", said the big boss (nobody knows his real name, and all his orders are transmitted by encrypted message), 'Good news like 'we're going to give you a mission that's not too easy, for a change' or 'tonight, it's poutine for dinner'..." I replied, "No and no. We've recruited a new member", 'And that's supposed to interest me?', 'Yes, because don't forget we're a big family and yes, because the new recruit will be your partner', "I already have 8 brothers and sisters I hate, no need to add to my family. And wait... what? Why me? Because you're one of our best recruits. In 10 minutes, you'll find out who your partner is, I've told him your neighborhood.". Great... really, great. A partner will force me to concentrate on him. Every time, he'll be an insufferable kid. Anyway... time's running out. I have a feeling I'm going to hate whoever comes through the door. The door opens and I see... Cody?!"

Cody's diary

"A journal, what a great idea. Spy school had too good an idea. They told me to do this to, and I quote, "Record my progress to improve." It's true, I'm right on the edge. Anyway... first things first. Some time ago, a secret organization called "Eagles Nest" approached me and asked if I'd like to join their espionage organization. Apparently, during TDI and TDWT, I showed particular skills in technology, hacking and gadgetry. Well... I don't remember doing that during my seasons, but it's true that I know my way around technology and can create a gadget that hacks. I agreed because it sounded like fun... well okay, because it was taking me away from Sierra. So I took the entrance tests, and what complicated tests they are. There are 3 stages: intelligence test, sports test and practical test. An example of a question on the intelligence test is to solve the abc conjecture. (A/n The ABC conjecture states that for any exponent k greater than 1, there is only a finite number of abc triplets for which c is greater than the product of prime factors to the power k... easy to understand the statement. Oh, and for the record, no solution has been demonstrated. So it's an unsolved problem... irl). Apparently, only one person in the school has managed to solve this problem, which is crazy because no one before him has, even mathematicians. Well, the sports tests are classic. And the practical test? Succeeding in landing and spending 24 hours on the island of North Sentinel (an island inhabited by one of the last cut-off tribes in the world, which kills intruders). Fortunately, the Eagles' Nest validates the test if you can see the island, even from a distance. Successful docking allows you to make up for a failed test, and if you've made it through 24 hours, you're directly accepted. You had to pass 2 out of 3 tests to get in. I passed the intelligence and sports test (yes, I can hardly believe it myself). Well... ok... I confess... I got everything on the line and didn't attempt the infiltration test for the good reason that... I want to live! With my performance, I was told I'd have a partner to help me. And not just any partner, the one who passed the abc conjecture and spent 24 hours on North Sentinel. I get closer to his neighborhood, open the door and see... Noah?!"
