Cody's diary

"After returning to the Eagles Nest, we had to wait several days for the lab to analyze the destroyed tracer for prints... and autopsy the body. Meanwhile, I spent some quality time with Noah. We got quite close and... and I think... I think I fell in love with him. He's funny, he's smart, he's witty, he's kind (well... sometimes...), he's brave, he's handsome, he's serious, he's... well, I'm not going to write down everything he is because, if I do, I'll get to the end of this diary. Anyway, I'm really delighted to be teaming up with him. He really is the best spy in the Nest. Getting back to our investigation, the tracer analysis revealed a lock of hair, we were able to analyze the DNA but the DNA is not on file. At least, if we arrest a suspect, we'll have evidence against him. And our corpse is still unknown too, "The victim was killed by 17 stab wounds" the coroner had told us when Noah and I had gone to get the analysis results, "17? He had a grudge..." I said, "How observant of you, Gap. And was it a Black Viper who killed our John Doe?" asked Noah, 'John Doe?' I asked, 'John Doe is the name given to an unidentified corpse, Jane Doe if the corpse is a woman,' Noah explained, "In any case, there's no way of knowing whether the Black Vipers are linked to this murder or not. However, the killer did leave a clue. From the depth of the wounds, it's clear that the killer used his dominant hand, given the force of the stab wounds. So, I can tell you that the killer is right-handed!" replied the coroner, 'So... we're looking for someone who belongs to 90% of the population... thanks, this is going to be too easy.' replied Noah sarcastically, "Hey! Arresting criminals is your job. My job is to autopsy the dead," defends the coroner, "Anyway, it's not our job to do it. As long as we don't know whether the murder is linked to the Black Viper, we should leave it to someone else." Noah concludes as he leaves the lab."

Noah's diary

"... someone is spying on me... which might be normal in a spy school because the make-up test is to spy on a spy from our agency... but that's not the case. Explanations: after coming back from the interrogations, I hacked into the newspaper "The Telegram" so I could post my "interviews" to avoid arousing Chris and Chef's suspicions. Then we waited several players for the results of the analysis of what Cody had found at the abandoned film studio. Spending so much time with Cody made me realize that I considered him a friend, and since I've never had a real friend in my life, that's why I thought I was in love with him, but I'm not. Anyway... to get back to this counter-espionage story, I'd noticed it before writing what I'm writing now. The diaries are kept in safes that can be opened with our palm and retina prints, which means that only the author of the diary can open it. I did, however, put 2 markers on my diary so that I'd know if it had been tampered with. The 1st is a bookmark, the 2nd is to arrange the diary so that it's always at the same angle. I found the bookmark where I'd left it... but not in the same position, meaning that someone had managed to break into the locker and read the diary (no doubt photographing the pages so I wouldn't find out the diary had been stolen). All these arrangements to cover up something like this soon made me realize that the person wanted information on the Black Vipers investigation, as this is the only case that appears in my diary. Not to mention that I found a hair in the locker, analyzed it on my own and discovered DNA... DNA similar to that found during the tracer analysis. Which means that whoever read my diary is a Black Viper. Problem: only Nest members can access Hythe. Which means one of the Eagles is a Viper and we've got a traitor on the team! He must have been disappointed... I encrypt everything I write in a language I haven't shared with anyone. I wasn't going to write everything in plain text.... Anyway, that means I can't trust anyone. And, unfortunately, my number 1 suspect is Cody. He was the last one to join us at the Nest. Plus, he's not making much headway on his own in this case, as if he wanted to slow down the investigation. The only thing I can't figure out is why he's doing it... I'll figure it out. But, for the time being, I have to cross-investigate him. So I went to see Cody to give him an excuse to split up, "Well, Gap, we've run out of leads," I said, "That's right... what can we do?" he asked, "Go back to the scene of the crimes... I'll check out the movie studio to see if you missed anything and I'll go back to the military base too. Can you take care of Pahkitew?", 'Uh... all right...'. We then left and I went to tail Cody to see if he's working well."

Cody's diary

"Noah and I talked about our investigation because we were stuck. He came up with the idea of returning to the scene of the crimes and asked me to go back to Pahkitew. So I went back and searched everywhere. Both in the command center and on the island. As I searched, I thought about Noah... he was a bit... strange... he seemed to want to get rid of me. But why? I hope I'm getting the wrong idea and it's not that he doesn't want me anymore.... As for my research, I looked for things you wouldn't necessarily think of: footprints, hair or anything else. Obviously, I found nothing... except under the mainframe, where the bomb was. And what I found was... the bomb. We didn't think to take it back to the lab for analysis. So I picked up the damn bomb and took it back to the lab... where Noah hadn't yet returned."
