Noah's diary

"While I was trying to take the object, the guards saw the theft and destroyed it, which was good because, like that, the Black Viper won't be able to use it. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of trouble for us. One of the guards was climbing up the ventilation shaft and would have been there 30 seconds later. What's more, the Black Viper, which was already in the ventilation system, reached our level. I then had the idea of joining forces with the Viper. "What?" exclaimed Cody, "Look, we have no choice. If they arrest one of the 3 of us, the other 2 will follow," I explained. The Viper looked at Cody and me, and Cody looked at the Viper. "Well... you're right." acknowledged Cody, 'Well, Viper, I guess your basic plan was to put the guards to sleep?' the Viper, in his transformed voice, replied. "That's right. And we have to do it now, so protect yourself!". The Viper dropped a narcoleptic smoke bomb and the guards had fallen asleep. Cody and I had had time to protect ourselves from the smoke with our sweaters, which we'd removed in that eventuality. "Now we can go back." said Cody's muffled voice, "No! The guards must have sent one of them to report the intrusion. We can't go back through the ventilation system," I said. So we went down to the room, I had taken 3 weapons, having removed all the ammunition from one of them. "Noah, are you coming?" asked Cody, "Wait, take this! You never know!" I replied, tossing them the weapons and having given the unloaded ones to the Viper."

Cody's diary

"Noah had explained the point of allying ourselves with the Viper and we agreed. We climbed down the ventilation shaft in case the guards were waiting for us inside, then, as we left the room, Noah handed us some weapons. "Uh... I'm not much for guns," I said, "Get used to it. I guess you don't want the guards shooting at you either." replied Noah, 'Good for you...' I finally agreed, 'Well, will you hurry up?' snarled the Viper. We then left the room and were able to take off our protective gear. Noah was right, however, and the alarm was sounded. We managed to avoid confrontation, but as we passed through the entrance, we saw hundreds of guards and, what's more, the door was boarded up. I asked the Viper, "Do you have another Somonyl bomb?" "No, I only had one. The Viper replied, "At 3 against 100, we've no chance of surviving. On the other hand, we can't use tricks either. Besides, all the gadgets I took with me were only useful for stealing the object." explained Noah, "Can I see them?" I asked, "Do you think it's time?" scolded Noah, "Trust me!". Noah finally agreed to show me. So I looked at the gadgets and came up with an idea. I started to put them to work. "What are you doing?" asked the Viper, 'I'd say he's building a new gagdet,' replied Noah for me. I then concentrated solely on my construction."

Noah's diary

"We'd managed to infiltrate to the exit but it was too well guarded. The Viper wanted to force his way in but I had to slow him down. Admittedly, I took away the guards' weapons, but it's better to avoid gratuitous killings. Besides, I didn't want the Viper to realize that his gun was unloaded. Cody then asked me to look at the gadgets I'd taken and started building something. I have to admit, it's amazing. I didn't know he had such a talent for inventing. Obviously, the Viper agreed with me, because he said "I didn't know Cody knew how to build gadgets", "Yeah... me neither." I replied. I then thought about those 2 sentences we exchanged because something struck me as odd. I exclaimed "Wait a minute..." but I couldn't finish my thought because Cody had finished. Proud of himself, he said, "Perfect. Noah, put on this belt and press the buckle. Viper, since I'm not going to give you our technology, you're going to do the removal". Cody also put on a belt and I did the same. We were now disguised as guards. The Viper and I immediately understood Cody's idea. We headed for the doomed front door with the Viper in handcuffs. Cody said, "The intruder has been captured. He's confessed that his 2 accomplices got away, but he's agreed to guide us to their hideout". The guard was not fooled as he asked "What are your identities?". I saw Cody panicking so I stepped in and said, "We're the 2 new guards. And you know perfectly well we're not allowed to say our real names, only our code names. So we're Nu and Kappa", "Well... check. The alert is over," said the guard, unlocking the entrance. So we were able to get out. "How did you do that?" asked Cody, "I asked around. They really had 2 new members today and all the guards use code names corresponding to their 1st letter first name in Greek.". Cody looked impressed and, even as we were taking off our disguises, the Viper pulled out a gun and said "Now, finish playing!". "You forgot something..." I said, pointing a gun at him too, 'No, he didn't.' said another voice. A 2nd Viper was in ambush. "What about me?" said Cody, pointing at the 2nd Viper. So we each point at one of our enemies because the 2nd Viper is now aiming at Cody."
