I Loathe You

Chapter Eleven

The Queen was determined to bring all kingdoms together to fight the former King and Queen of Saxum. This would be the best way to bring them to justice for what they have done to so many innocent people. All four kingdoms were involved in this operation. The people of Mitis, AKA the peaceful kingdom, were eager to have the chaos resolved as soon as possible. Queen Brianne Winona Peace is thirty years old with blue eyes, and brown hair. King Louis Sheldon Peace is thirty-two years old with teal-blue eyes, and black hair. Having the kingdom of Aureum, Sortis, Saxum, and Mitis working together sounded like the best way to work things out. King Michele brought Queen Laura along with him despite being in a vulnerable condition, because he didn't feel it would be safe to leave her alone with the unborn child where his parents could snatch them. (Queen Cara): "Welcome all of you, your majesties. As you may know, the organization known as Sanguinis has been killing innocent people by infecting them with royal blood, in the attempts to make them royal and magical. There are briefs on the private investigation we have been doing in front of you on the table. We have found that the infection has no cure, but we have our own medical team working on ways to create one. Also to note that the leaders are the former monarchs of Saxum" Leading this investigation felt right to Queen Cara. She knew that she had the Saxum monarchs wrapped around her finger. If she remained confident with her take-charge attitude then she would intimidate Queen Laura even further and if she snuggled up to King Sebastian then it would drive King Michele wild with jealousy. The only thing that made the Queen's blood boil was knowing that Queen Laura was carrying her ex-lover's unborn child. It should have been her. (King Sebastian): "We need to work together in order to take down the leaders as soon as possible to prevent them from harming anyone else. We don't know how they will react to being caught. Their two biggest accomplices are both dead, which means they will be desperate" (King Michele): "What gives you the confidence to take initiative in this discussion, King Sebastian Fate?" (King Sebastian): "Oh, you don't know?' (King Michele): "Know what?" (King Sebastian): "Are you sure you would want to know, King Michele Stone?" These two are always at each other's throats. Ready to tear one another apart. (Queen Laura): "What is going on? Is there a problem?" (Queen Brianne): "There is no need to fight each other. We are on the same team here" (King Louis): "What exactly could be cause for an argument between the two of you?" (Queen Cara): "King Sebastian and I are engaged to be married" (Queen Brianne): "Wow! Congratulations!" (King Louis): "That is wonderful news! You would be merging two huge kingdoms" (Queen Cara): "Thank you. That is true" (Queen Brianne): "Then why can't they get along?" Because they are territorial and both madly in love with the Queen? Because they both know that they never want the other one to be happier with her. Because it could easily have been Queen Cara Patricia Stone instead of Queen Laura Stone. (Queen Laura): "Because my husband used to court Queen Cara and he feels threatened by King Sebastian being the new man in her life" Well, she is a few months pregnant but certainly not an idiot. Pointing out that they were at each other's throats, and now knowing that Queen Cara and King Sebastian are engaged... All of this made the group discussion a little more awkward. (Queen Brianne): "So, you two used to date then he left you for a title and her. Then you met him and are now engaged. Yet, even though you have moved on, there are still residual feelings left. Isn't there a way to come to an agreement for less problems?" (Queen Laura): "The peaceful kingdom is way too optimistic. Michele is still in love with the Queen even though I am carrying his future heir to the throne" They were having a baby boy who would become the heir to the Saxum throne. Everything that the former King and Queen would have wanted. It could have been their entire plan in The Bloodline. They killed all their sons and daughters to put King Michele next in line. They abdicated the throne and had King Michele marry someone that they approved of. She must have been of pure royal blood to ensure that she and he would produce the most pure of royals to the throne. Then once the children were born, and the new King was under control by his parents, then they would convince King Michele to use his children in the organization so they could spend their entire lives donating blood to the organization. This would have been put in place for when the former monarchs would not be able to donate blood anymore. When Queen Cara explained all of this, everyone at the table went into shock. That was the plan all along and even though the Queen was his girlfriend at the time, she would be made a better target than a distrustful ally as she would have fought to keep them from controlling King Michele. (King Michele): "Your parents must have found out what my parents were up to and tried to negotiate with them to stop all their plans" (Queen Cara): "Then ended up just being casualties in a ridiculous battle. Why are your parents so determined to infect these people? Power? To build an army?" The real answer was just in case they could find a potion that could make them stronger. They used people as test subjects and if the appropriate subjects had positive reactions to the infection, they could gain strength and more powers without needing to practice. That would mean that out of the thousands, they were trying to find at least one of them to show the needed traits they were searching for. (King Sebastian): "We will have the wedding in a week. At the ceremony, we can move as planned. Former King Nathaniel and Queen Mother Ambrosia will be forced to attend, otherwise it will look suspicious to the rest of the court. Queen Cara and I have already put ideas into plan" That was most definitely true. They were excited to get married, join their kingdoms, and become even more powerful monarchs. They wanted every chance possible to make their people feel safer in this situation. (Queen Cara): "Invitations will be sent in a day or two to each of you. Hopefully we will be able to put a stop to The Bloodline once and for all" (King Michele): "A wedding. Really? You barely know this guy, Queen Cara" (Queen Cara): "I thought I knew you my entire life and was completely wrong. So, you don't get to dictate who could be the right person for me to marry" (King Sebastian): "You married for title and for convenience, your majesty. No offense, if we are not interested in your inspiring little speeches" After the discussion at the table, it was time for the wedding planning the next morning.
