China opened the apartment door and looked at Amelia "hello" she said with a smile

Amelia just looked at her, her face straight and unreadable, almost like she was deciding wether she could trust her

China didn't wait for a response, and continued talking, and beckoned for the servant (that sounds real,y like, cruel, butler maybe? nah, servant sounds better) with the bow tie to com over "would you mind taking Amelia and Valkyrie to the living room, or just..." she trailed off "just put them somewhere, me and skulduggery have things... to discuss" China said, although halfway through her sentence, she seemed to have slumped, and her voice mystified.

Valkyrie looked confused, but was lead away by the man in the bow tie. Amelia's head was twisting in all sorts of weird angles in a desperate attempt to take in as much as possible, when they sat down, a look of confusion came over her face "can you be born without a spine" she asked confused

"I doby think so, why?" Valkyrie said

"I don't think I have one" she said simply"

Valkyrie looked confused and raised an eyebrow, Amelia responded by standing up, then bending down so I he back of her head touched the back of her ankles

"that's so weird" Valkyrie said

"it is pretty weird" she responded back, and then they sat in silence

when skulduggery dragged her out to the Bentley, she sat down (no shit me, what else would she be doing, a back bend?) "what did China want"

"just wanted to assure me it wouldn't be another caisson type situation"

"I think she gets lonely" Valkyrie said

he tilted shins head slightly and started the car

"why do you say that"

"it's the way her eyes light up whenever you, or me, or anyone, not tanith though, I don't think she likes her very much, but anyways, whenever someone walks up to her, she gets excited, she would never admit it of course..." Valkyrie trailed off, then groaned

"are you alright?" Skulduggery asked slightly concerned as Valkyrie banged her head on the dashboard

"I've got a bloody headache" she muttered

he patted her head "you'll live, probably"

Valkyrie just mumbled something that wasn't coherent

When the car ride was over, Valkyrie kept her head on the dashboard, not even realising they ha arrived, skulduggery opened Valkyries door and shook her slightly, when she didnt wake up he whispered "Valkyrie, time to wake up, Valkyrie opened her eyes, and was blinking quickly at the sudden change of light, then without saying a word, she got out of the car and grabbed skulduggery's arm, and practically dragged him into the house " are you sure your alright?" E asked

"Yeah, just need a cold shower and a cup of tea" she mumbled, and skulduggery nodded as she broke off from him and walked to the upper level of skulduggery's house, and skulduggery busied himself in the kitchen, making her a cup of tea and toast, then remembered ghastly had made valkyrie a new set of clothes after she mentioned they were getting a bit tight, so he went to the Bentley and grabbed the brown parcel and walked upstairs and knocked on the bathroom door

"Ghastly made you some new clothes" he said loudly over the water

"Oh cool, if you see him before mine tell me i said thanks!" She said also loudly

"Ill put them in your room" he sad and walked off before he could hear what his reply was

sorry this one is so short I just CANT focus today for some reason 😭

I also realised me and my older sister almost have the same age gap as winter and Valkyrie!
