Jake stood outside the restaurant, staring at the door with hesitation. His heart pounded in his chest, and for a moment, he debated turning around and walking away. He wasn't ready for this—not today. But...no. Fuck this. He was seeing Heeseung, and he needed it. Needed him.

With a deep breath, Jake pushed the door open and walked inside. The familiar scent of coffee and pastries filled the air, but none of that mattered when he spotted Heeseung. There he was, standing by the counter, cleaning a few cups with his back to the entrance.

Without thinking twice, Jake ran up to him. The moment he got close enough, he jumped up and wrapped his arms around Heeseung from behind, practically launching himself at him. Heeseung, always quick to catch him, instinctively turned and caught him mid-air, wrapping his strong arms around Jake with ease.

"Whoa!" Heeseung laughed, his voice filled with warmth as he held Jake close. "Where did you come from?"

Jake just buried his face into Heeseung's shoulder, nuzzling into the crook of his neck as he let out a content sigh. God, he loved being in Heeseung's arms, where everything felt safe, warm, and like nothing could go wrong. They felt like they'd protect him from anything the world threw at him. He didn't say a word, just held on for dear life, feeling the steady rise and fall of Heeseung's chest beneath him.

When he finally let go, Heeseung gently set him back down on the ground but didn't release him from his embrace. Instead, he held Jake close, looking down at him with that look—the one that made Jake feel like he was the only person that mattered in the world. Heeseung's eyes sparkled with something soft and sweet, and Jake swore he could see hearts floating in them.

Jake smiled, feeling his heart squeeze. Heeseung was everything.

"Hey," Heeseung said softly, brushing a thumb over Jake's cheek. "You okay? You seem a little...less mischievous than usual."

Jake rested his head on Heeseung's shoulder again, closing his eyes as the exhaustion of the day caught up with him. He didn't feel like teasing or joking around. He was tired. Not physically, but emotionally. He wanted to be close to Heeseung, to feel his warmth, to let himself melt into him for a little while.

"I'm just tired," Jake mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper.

Heeseung chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to Jake's temple. "Tired? You sure that's all?" His tone was teasing, but gentle.

Jake managed a small smile but shook his head. "I just want to cuddle you until your break ends," he confessed, his voice quiet and soft. "Can we just...stay like this for a while?"

Heeseung blinked, clearly caught off guard by the request. Jake usually wanted to flirt, tease, or play around. But now, he just wanted to hold on to Heeseung, and that melted his heart.

"Of course," Heeseung said softly, his voice laced with affection. "I'll do whatever you want."

With that, Heeseung led Jake to the back, finding a quiet spot where they could sit. Jake immediately curled into Heeseung's lap, pressing his face into his chest while Heeseung wrapped his arms around him protectively. They didn't need to speak. The silence was enough—warm, comforting, and filled with love.

Heeseung rested his chin on Jake's head, running a hand gently through his hair. "You know," Heeseung started, "this is kind of nice. Just you and me."

Jake didn't say anything, but the way he tightened his grip around Heeseung's waist said it all. He wanted to stay here, like this, wrapped up in Heeseung's warmth, for as long as he could.

And Heeseung? He was ready to give Jake everything and anything he wanted.
