The venue was breathtaking, decorated in rich hues of wine red, warm brown, sleek black, and delicate accents of white. Fairy lights twinkled softly above, and the scent of roses and cedar filled the air. Jake stood near the edge of the reception hall, his eyes scanning the setup. He couldn't help but feel a swell of pride—everything looked perfect.

Of course, it had been Heeseung's doing. He'd planned every detail meticulously, down to the arrangement of the flowers and the choice of the tablecloths. Jake's lips curled into a soft smile as he watched Heeseung across the room, busy talking to the coordinator about last-minute adjustments. Heeseung caught his gaze from afar and flashed him a brief smile before turning back to the discussion.

Jake turned back to admire the room, a quiet thought tugging at his mind. I can't believe I'm engaged now.

"Mm, feels good, doesn't it?"

Jake startled slightly as Heeseung's voice broke through his thoughts. He turned his head to see Heeseung now standing behind him, close enough that Jake could feel his steady presence. Without thinking, Jake pressed his back against Heeseung's chest, letting out a small laugh.

"How do you always know what I'm thinking?" Jake murmured, leaning into him as Heeseung's arm lazily draped around his waist.

"I make it my business to know," Heeseung replied, his voice soft and steady as he caught a faint whiff of the fruity scent Jake always carried. It was the same scent that had drawn him in.

Jake sighed contentedly, letting the moment settle before breaking the silence. "I have a question."

"Ask away," Heeseung replied, his tone curious but casual.

Jake tilted his head to glance at him, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "Did you fall in love with me because I smell good?"

Heeseung let out a deep laugh, the kind that made Jake's chest flutter. "That's what you're going with? Out of all the things you could ask me?"

Jake turned fully in his arms, raising an eyebrow. "Well? Is it true?"

Heeseung's laughter softened into a warm smile as he looked down at him. "No, Jake. I fell in love with you because you're you." He paused, his fingers gently brushing Jake's cheek. "But...the way you smell is definitely a bonus."

Jake let out a playful scoff, smacking Heeseung's arm lightly. "Unbelievable."

"Hey, I'm just being honest," Heeseung teased, pulling Jake closer until their foreheads lightly touched. "Besides, you can't tell me you didn't fall for my charms first."

"More like I fell for your relentless persistence," Jake shot back with a grin.

Heeseung laughed again, his thumb tracing gentle circles on Jake's hip. "And now look where we are. I wore you down."

Jake rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the smile on his face. "Yeah, yeah. Don't get used to winning."

The sound of guests arriving pulled them out of their bubble, and Heeseung stepped back slightly, giving Jake one last fond look before they both turned toward the growing crowd.

The wedding itself was nothing short of magical. Every detail seemed to glow under the soft lighting, and the atmosphere was filled with love and warmth.

Jake stood beside Heeseung, their hands brushing subtly whenever no one was looking. Heeseung's older brother and sister-in-law looked absolutely radiant, their happiness contagious as they laughed and danced with their guests.
