Small moments throughout your day.

The morning light filtered through the blinds, casting soft golden rays across the New York apartment. You stirred awake to the quiet hum of the city outside. The bed was warm, and you smiled when you felt Kendall's arm draped across your waist, pulling you closer.

"Morning, baby," she whispered, her voice husky with sleep.

You turned in her embrace, your noses brushing lightly before she leaned in to kiss the tip of yours. "Morning," you murmured back, your voice sleepy but content.

Kendall propped herself up on one elbow, her hand reaching to brush a strand of hair from your face. "We've got a busy day ahead," she said softly, but there was a glint of affection in her eyes. "But first..." She leaned in, pressing another soft kiss on your nose, making you giggle.

"Hey, no fair," you teased, reaching up to playfully swat her away.

She grinned, sliding out of bed and stretching. "C'mon, we gotta get ready." She padded over to the closet, pulling out your clothes before throwing on her own cozy outfit. The autumn chill had settled into the city, and Kendall was always the practical one when it came to the weather. As you slipped into your shirt, she came over with your jacket, hands deftly zipping it up for you with a small smile. "Wear a jacket, it's cold out."

Her fingers lingered on the zipper for a moment, a subtle act of care, before she dropped her hands and reached for yours.

---

The city was alive as you and Kendall stepped outside, the cool breeze nipping at your cheeks. You took a deep breath of the crisp autumn air, the familiar buzz of New York City rushing around you.

Security trailed behind you both as you began walking down the sidewalk. Paparazzi lingered at a distance, and while you were used to it, Kendall always made sure you were comfortable. Her hand brushed yours as she gently took your wrist, guiding you to the other side of the sidewalk.

"What are you doing?" you asked, glancing at her with a curious smile.

Kendall gave you a knowing look, her voice soft and caring. "Sidewalk rule, babe. I'm not letting you walk near the street."

Your heart fluttered at the small, protective gesture. She always did this—quietly looking out for you in her own way.

As you reached the studio for your photoshoot, you felt a warmth that had nothing to do with the jacket Kendall insisted you wear.

---

Inside the studio, the glam teams were already setting up, the usual hustle and bustle of a photoshoot surrounding you. Kendall was in the makeup chair beside you, chatting with her stylist as you both got your hair and makeup done.

You watched her in the mirror, admiring how calm and composed she always looked, even in the chaos of a busy day. When the makeup artist handed her a tissue to blot her lipstick, you couldn't resist leaning in. Instead of using the tissue, you gave her a quick, soft kiss on the lips.

Kendall laughed, her eyes sparkling as she looked at you. "I'm pretty sure that wasn't what they meant by blotting, but I'll take it."

You grinned. "Just doing my part."

---

After the shoot, you both piled into the car, heading to a cozy restaurant nearby for a late lunch. As the car cruised through the streets, you leaned your head on Kendall's shoulder, peeking at her phone as she scrolled through her feed.

"What are you looking at?" you asked, your voice muffled against her sweater.

Kendall smiled, tilting the screen toward you. "Just Instagram. Oh wait—let's take a picture." She turned the camera on you both, snapping a quick photo of you resting against her, cozy and content. "That's cute, right?"

You nodded, and soon after, you saw the notification—Kendall had posted it with the caption: "Best part of my day ♥️"

---

The restaurant was small and intimate, a perfect escape from the bustling city outside. As you approached the door, you quickly reached for the handle, holding it open for Kendall with a playful grin.

She chuckled. "Why thank you," she teased, stepping inside before making her way to the table. But before you could sit down, she pulled out your chair for you. "My turn."

You laughed softly as you sat, giving her a grateful smile. "Thank you, babe."

As you waited for your food, you noticed Kendall's eyes light up when she spotted something on her phone—a trailer for a movie she'd been excited about. Without missing a beat, you leaned forward. "Oh, that movie you've been talking about... I saw they released another teaser."

Kendall's face lit up as she started talking about it, her words spilling out in an excited ramble. You listened intently, smiling as she went on about the plot, the actors, and how she couldn't wait to see it. You loved moments like this, when she got so adorably enthusiastic about things. And you were happy to have watched the trailers to keep her talking.

When the food arrived, Kendall immediately offered you a bite of her dish. "Try this, it's so good."

You did the same, holding up a forkful of your meal for her to taste. "You try mine too."

As you continued eating, you noticed a little smudge of sauce on the corner of Kendall's lips. Without thinking, you leaned over, kissing the sauce off gently. She paused, surprised for a second, then smiled warmly. "You really just kissed the sauce off me?"

You grinned. "Couldn't let it go to waste."

Near the end of your meal, the restaurant owner approached, asking for a quick photo with the two of you. You both obliged, standing together as the camera clicked. Kendall wrapped her arm around your waist, pulling you close. But then, with a mischievous grin, she subtly lifted you off the ground, her strength showing as she held you up just a couple of inches.

"Kendall!" you laughed, clinging to her as she grinned, setting you back down after the photo.

"You're too cute," she teased, giving you a playful kiss on the cheek.

Back at your apartment, the day finally winding down, you lay together in bed, the soft glow of the city outside casting a faint light into the room. Kendall was resting against the pillows, and your fingers absentmindedly played with her hair, twisting strands through your fingers as she talked about the day.

"Today was pretty good, huh?" she murmured, her eyes closed in contentment.

You nodded, feeling the warmth of her beside you. "Yeah, it was. I love these quiet moments with you."

Kendall smiled, her hand reaching for yours, holding it gently as she let out a soft sigh. "Me too. I love you."

You leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. "I love you more."

The city buzzed outside, but in that moment, the world was just the two of you—wrapped up in quiet acts of love, feeling like the luckiest person alive.
