"now do you understand why I want to analyse your necklace and age it?" Korn said after a few minutes of Korn staring at the picture
"I must be really dumb, I still don't get it, what am I supposed to be seeing?" Thorn said.
"oh for fu ... her neck Thorn, look at her damn neck" Korn was almost shouting.
"alright baby' calm down shiyaa ..." Thorn began as his eyes scanned the image,
"fucking hell Korn, is that what I think it is?" Thorn looked up at his mate, his face pale.
"and finally he gets it ... I believe it is but until I run tests on the necklace I won't know for sure, if I can prove that your necklace is from that time period then as a piece of great historical value it could be worth a fortune" Korn said.
"shiyaa, but how did I come to have it?" Thorn said.
"I have no idea but at least if you ever want to look for your real parents you would know where to start" Korn said.
"where? it's not as if I can travel back in time to the tenth century" Thorn looked confused
"goddess really ... this is who you paired me with?" Korn said looking up into the air before continuing,
"Myanmar ... you go to Myanmar and see what you can find out there" Korn said.
"it's interesting baby but I never thought about searching for my real parents? if they cared so much about me they wouldn't have dumped me in the middle of a forest!" Thorn said.
"maybe they stole the necklace from a museum and hid it in your basket and maybe the cops were chasing after them and they had to dump you, maybe they intended to come back for you but when they did you had disappeared because your dad had already found you? Korn suggested.
"shiyaa, that actually sounds feasible baby but does that mean I will have to give it back? I've worn it for most of my life, it's almost a part of me now" Thorn said.
"I'm sure we would have heard something on the news by now, something about the lost jewels of Pagan or something similar so I wouldn't worry too much just yet" Korn said.
"can I get a copy of the picture Korn, I'd like to show my dad" Thorn said.
"mmm maybe we shouldn't mention it to anyone just yet Thorn" Thinnakorn replied.
"anyway, I guess I should be getting back, it's getting late and I have to say I'm not looking forward to the drive" Thorn said.
"will you send me a message later and let me know you got home safe?" Thinnakorn said.
"are you worried about me baby?" Thorn smiled.
"I'd be concerned about anyone" Korn replied.
"how much longer are you going to pretend you don't feel anything for me?" Thorn asked him.
"when did I ever say that I don't feel anything for you? I just want to be sure" Korn said.
"I understand baby but this waiting, it's driving me crazy" Thorn said.
"how do you feel about us anyway?" Thinnakorn asked him.
"well because of your disappearing act we haven't managed to spend much time together but the bits I have seen up to now, I'm liking you more and more, I'm extremely proud of what you do, seeing you in action, you're really something Korn" Thorn said.
"maybe I should drive over to you the next time and watch you doing your thing?" Korn suggested.
"sure, that sounds good" Thorn said.
