"I'm going to need you to kill me after I transport the pup" Tiek said

"what!"

"all weizza's are gifted with the power to reincarnate but very few use their gift because in order to do so they must first die"

"master Tiek ... I cannot" Hassaman said.

"you must, if you want me to care for your child then you must" Tiek said.

"what will you do?" Hassaman asked him.

"I can choose when and where I will be reborn so I plan to send the child to a specific place and time and I will go to that place when I reach my current age, on this same day many years from now but in order to be reborn I first need to die"

"are you sure it will work?" Hassaman asked him.

"what other course of action do we have?" master Tiek replied.

Hassaman nodded and went to get her pup who lay in a basket oblivious to the scene that was unfolding then she quickly took off the necklace that master Tiek had gifted her and placed it into the basket with her pup.

"I have nothing else to give you my child but I hope that one day you will know just how much your father and I loved you ... master Tiek has been and will always remain my true friend and he is going to take care of you so be good for him, I love you" Hassaman said as she handed the basket to Tiek who was chanting.

Tiek placed the basket on the ground and within minutes the basket disappeared then he continued to chant as he handed lady Hassaman the hunting knife that he had used to gut the fish then laid on her bunk and pulled his robes open to reveal his chest.

"I can not do it master Tiek" she sobbed.

"you must my lady for every minute that you delay, the child is alone in that place a little bit longer and there are more chances of my plan failing" Tiek said then he continued chanting.

"master Tiek ..."

Tiek took her trembling hand that held the knife to steady it and brought it to his heart then held her gaze,

"I can not kill myself my lady, you have to do it for me" he repeated.

"thank you master Tiek, I thank you for everything" Hassaman said as she closed her eyes and plunged downwards.

"I love you my lady" Tiek said as his heart slowed to a stop and Hassaman withdrew the knife to throw it across the room then watched numbly as Tiek's body disappeared, her anger increasing as she heard Htan outside, he had taken everyone from her and he thought she was just going to walk into his arms willingly?

"I'm coming in!" he roared as she shifted into her wolf.

Htan walked towards the door with his sword drawn and flung it open not knowing that a wolf was waiting to pounce on him and the wolf fell directly onto his sword, the weight making them both drop to the ground as he looked on with shock.

Htan watched as the wolf slowly died and looked around the farmhouse for evidence that he had the right place but there was nothing.

Where was the sorcerer and the child and who was this wolf? no, it couldn't be ... he would not believe it but as he watched, the wolf's heart stopped beating and it shifted back into its human form and he saw his lady Hassaman impaled on his own weapon.
