𓆩𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐄𝐁𝐒𓆪 ~⊹˙∘ [⌗𝐓𝐃𝐋 𝐗 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑]░

SIX: People

I walked around the building complex of the base, I and other prisoners TDL kept were given a small chunk of freedom to explore this place. After 5 minutes or so, the speaker in the corner loudly announced the prisoners to go to the cafeteria where we were served lunch.

The other prisoners quickly scurried to the room labeled "CAFETERIA" in big bold letters. The place was massive, filled to the brim with foods of all sorts, yet only a few of them were designated for the prisoners. There were some workers and scientists there already eating their meals and chatting with each other.

Somehow, i got myself into the line of stickfigures, i had no choice but to wait with them, as getting out of the line would result in me back to my cell, which i really didn't like considering i won't have privacy for the next few hours until midnight. After a few minutes of waiting, i finally got my tray, It was composed of rice, eggs, bacon, hash browns and a carton of milk. Not bad for a prison and definitely better than what TDL had served me.

I sat by myself at a table and ate away, whilst being in my thoughts. As i was munching away my meal, the doors of the cafeteria opened and heavy footsteps followed, the other stickfigures turned their head towards the sound only to look away in fear. There he was, TDL, walking towards a specific table next to mine. He was eying at the guard who was chit chatting with the scientists.

Are you fucking serious.

I regretted sitting at this table, thankfully there were 2 other stickfigures that sat on the opposite side of my table, looking quite scared.

Once TDL was done, he glanced up at me, his gaze almost a glare as he stared into my soul, my eyebrows furrowed, almost as if i was returning a glare at him too but with a mix of confusion. What's his problem?

I then looked away, and he did too shortly after just staring at me. Damn his eyes are intimidating.

After that, TDL quietly spoke to the guard again, after that he left without looking back. The people on the table next to me left immediately after eating their meal. The two figures on the opposite side of the table spoke.

"Why'd he look at you like that?" One spoke, turning my attention to their question "w-what?" I say, not quite understanding what they said. "TDL, isn't the type to just look at any prisoners here, and by his looks, it seemed like you both had history together." They added. I sighed "i really don't want to talk about that topic. Anyways, i have to go now"

I stood up and grabbed my slightly empty tray, with the carton of milk still untouched. I walked towards the trash bin and dumped all the food inside before putting the tray where it had belonged. I left the cafeteria shortly and went straight to my room. I did not want to go out after that encounter as TDL's gaze sent shivers down my spine.

Oh shit.

I was lost. I wanted to go check on something outside my cell, took a couple of turns, and got lost. I couldn't recall where i came from and where to go.

"Damnit.." I groaned and walked around for a bit. Nothing was heard except for the buzzing of lights and the sound of the facility running, it seemed that i had wandered around the secluded area of the base.

I heard faint talking, supposedly a male and female voice, i walked closer to the source and turned a corner, where in the distance i could see two figures. One stickfigure had magenta for their color, two metal bracelets with a red gem in the middle, she was talking to another stickfigure. He had black for their color and their back was turned to me, they had a black cape like shawl.

The woman's eyes landed on me before raiding her eyebrows, the man surely noticed and turned around to face me, he had navy blue for his eyes.

"Oh, hi stranger!" The magenta girl waved "what are you doing in this part of the building? You should be in your cell" she continued as i walked closer to them. "I was lost, i wanted to check out something but it seems i have wondered too far from where i came from" i responded.

"You really shouldn't be out here, Dark would be very mad, and you wouldn't want to see him when he's in a bad mood" she said bitterly, as if afraid of TDL's doing. The man just kept silent, yet still standing by her side his hood casting a shadow over his face,covering it from view. "You're the new one here huh? May i catch your name?"

"Oh, im Y/n, nice to meet you two" I said.

"Im Lady Star! Call me Star for short, and this is Void, he's.. A bit of an introvert" Lady Star introduced and Void just looked away. "Anyways, let me lead you back to your cell, TDL could be here any minute"

And with that, she guided me through the hallways as we made small talk, Void just followed while keeping eeirily silent, observing the both of us. After they escorted me to my cell, they waved their goodbyes and left quickly. I was now back in my room. All alone. I know i exaggerate being alone but what can i say? It feels so lonely here, no one to talk to nor anything to entertain me. TDL hasn't been visiting me, he hasn't shown up except for the cafeteria encounter.

But at least i met two staffs, i guess they had a higher rank? But Lady Star was nice though, contrast to Void—who looked like he was judging me.
