Bairavan entered the house and, without removing his shoes, proceeded to take them off inside. He then placed them on the shoe rack behind the door and tucked his socks into them....Umaiyazh observed this and mentally noted her dislike for his habit and the unpleasant odour emanating from his shoes and socks. He then went to the kitchen, washed his hands, and began to prepare instant coffee, reaching for the milk packet from the fridge.....
Umaiyazh followed and stood close behind him; when he turned around, he was taken aback by her proximity.
"You can wait in the hall"
"Why....naa inga nikurathu ungaluku disturbance ah iruka....or distraction????"
Umaiyazh asked, her brows raised in joy... He took a deep breath and walked past her to the stove and took one pan and poured the milk into that....She followed him again and nudged his shoulders....He looked at her
"nenga inum bathil solalaiye....naa disturbance ah ila distraction ah??"
"Discomfort"
He replied in fraction and moved to find the instant coffee powder, leaving her dumbfounded; it did hurt her...she managed to mask it soon and asked him looking at the instant coffee powder pack
"En Instant coffee tha pudikuma ungaluku.....I like filter coffee mostly kalaila annanga and Maaran eluthudivanga to do their workouts so Maaran avanuku green tea podrapove enaku filter coffee ku mix pani strain aga vachiduvan...then Yaar anaiku cook pandrangalo they will mix the decotion and milk and bring that to me...You know bed coffee en day apdi tha start agum ungaluku apdi ethachu routine iruka..."
He shook his head, diluted the milk with water, lit the stove, placed the pan on it, and then went to find sugar and a cup...
"Neenga inum bathil solaliye.....instant coffee tha pudikuma????"
She asked him again....he signed and said
"Ila"
"Apo tea person ah nenga.."
"Ila"
"Horlics boost protein shake antha mari"
"ila"
"Then freash juice"
"Ila"
"Apo tea coffee palakame ilaiya"
"Ila...enaku palakamum ila...Thala vali athigama iruntha inji potu oru decoction avlo tha....Intha coffee and Tea powder lam ipadi yarachu vetuku vantha avangaluku kudukanum nu vangi vachirukein..."
"Ohhh apo ungaluku samaika theriyuma??"
"Hmm Chinnavaysula irunthe amma ku samaika help panuvein and later on nane samaika kathukitein amma athigam vetla vela seiya vidamatein nane seiya palagitein"
"Ohh super gha....even I do help sometimes in kitchen...but fulla naa samachathu ila....chinna chinna simple dish lam panuvein athu oru survival skills la so basic vetla elarukum mandatory......Aparam ungaluku ena favorite food"
She asked him again....he simed the stove and turned back to face her and folded his arms infront and narrowed his eyes at her
"What exactly you want to know??"
She was taken aback by that sudden direct question from him......Umaiyazh took a deep breath and decided to have serious conversation leaving the fun aside...
"I want to marry you....."
Umaiyazh spoke with seriousness, while Bairavan chuckled upon hearing her words....
