Psychoooo X

Her long dark hair swung in the wind, it's shine ever more precious in the sunlight. She sat at her kitchen counter staring at the meal she just made-- pasta and bread. Always the same comfort meal when she's lonely and feeling down.

I felt angered by the sudden block of contact. It was like a wall had formed that didn't allow me to have fun. And I detested it.

Oh, how I absolutely despised it. I wanted to rip her intestines out and lick her blood from my scythe as she lay helplessly bleeding out in front of me, screaming for help.

But I couldn't. The more I tried, the more resistance I got. If she wanted to play, I would. After all it is my favorite.

"So it's working?" Nile asked. Jessica sipped her coffee quietly.
"I think so," I nodded.

Jessica sat her cup down. "Then are you up for my party Friday night?"

"Ah," I completely forgot, "I'm sorry Jess. I had so much going on."

"I know," Jessica waved her hand in the air, completely dismissing my excuses and simultaneously accepting my unsaid apology, "So are you up for it?"

"Yes," I smiled.

"Good," Sabby chimed in as she whisked from around the corner, "Don't I get an invite too?" She asked playfully, her charm playing on her lips.

"Of course," Jessica laughed. She reached up and touched Sabby's chin, "Would you like to come to my party Friday?"

"I was coming regardless," Sabrina winked.
"Good. Wear something slutty," Jessica teased as she leaned for a kiss.

"You have no class," Sabrina playfully pushed her away after the quick kiss, "Enjoy your macchiato," she said as she left.

..

My classes went so smooth this week. Like a flash. I couldn't remember the last time I felt so.. at ease. So relaxed.

I fumbled inside my kitchen, ditching the pizza box  as I munched on the last cheesy slice.

Ring, ring, ring. I immediately fetched the phone.

"How are you?" Jake's voice sounded like music to my ears.
"I'm fine," I hummed. "How's work?"
"Almost finished. Just called to check in, hear your voice. I'll call you again later, love you."
"Im going to Jessica's later," I added.
"Are you sure?" Jake asked.
"I'm riding with Nile. I might stay," I said.
"Okay," he finally said. "Call me when you come home."
"Okay, love you."

I sighed as I rambled through my closet.

Knock, knock! "Let me in!" I heard Niles loud voice from outside the door. I quickly let her in before the neighbors started complaining.

"You look amazing," Nile touched the hem of my skirt and made me a do a small spin. "You ready?"

"Yes," I grabbed my phone and keys. "Ready."
