After the first time he saw him in the studio, Vincent learned from Chrissy's gossip, that after so many years of not dating, he started seeing some girl just recently. Great.

Hopefully, just a passing fancy, as he doesn't want another silly girl in her group if she is anything like her best friend Chrissy. Also, it's easier to recruit single people. He did put himself at a great disadvantage by picking up a girl so quickly - as people love a flirt, and are very gullible if you sell your intentions foggy enough. Matter not, Chrissy is an important part until he can get Alastor to join him, and then she can be dumped, finally.

Even now, she managed to beg Alastor and his girl to visit them during one of the weekend gatherings. Vincent was so excited he barely could stay put, not that he had the time as he had to organize everything to be perfect. He always paid special attention to having the latest fashion both in furniture and in his clothing. Therefore, he got some new sofas and outdoor sets just for this occasion - anything to impress the man. They could arrive any minute now, but he retired into his office to gather himself, he remained a bit fidgety even as he pretended to read something, but he was deep in thought. The moment he hears a knock, he straightens out, putting on his best smile.

Mostly ignoring the girl and Chrissy, he steps right to Alastor, internally biting his fists at how gorgeous the man looks in a suit. "And who you would be, my friend?" He asks, not like he tried to find out everything he could about him via his connections. "Alastor, a pleasure to be meeting you, quite the pleasure!" While he looks very unamused, his voice sounds even better unfiltered without the static of the radio. Vincent's smile wavers a little, as the browned eyes behind the glasses already started to judge him, despising sitting out on the other man's face. Did Chrissy badmouth him? Impossible, the girl is practically obsessed with him... But then why?

Vincent quickly looks at the girl who tagged along with his actual guest. That bitch... It must have been her planting ideas in his head. Matter not, he will have Alastor see for himself, show him what he has built and where he belongs. Next to Vincent.

He leads them out into the meeting room, to put up a good show, like always. Alastor has a sarcastic remark, good thing that smugness looks so hot on him. After the sermon he walks ahead into the garden, to make sure everything is in order for dinner. It is, but he still proceeds to bark a few remarks at the staff, like to fix the napkins and bring out more wine. He will ease him into his community just as he did with the rest of the people. They always break under his charisma and persuasion sooner or later...

Little does he know that all his efforts to swoon Alastor with a nice meal and a good speech will fail miserably.
