Marcy's P.O.V
We've been driving for 2 hours.
As usual Luke won't tell me where he's taking me.
"Luke. I'm tired." I yawn.
"Really?" He yawns too.
It's 7 o'clock and I haven't even done my homework.
Wait, why am I even thinking about homework when I'm with Luke?
"We're almost there." He smiles at me.
"Okay then." I sigh.
"Oh. Reach into the back seat." He chuckles.
I do so.
And I get.....
"Larcy!" I yell hugging the penguin.
"You missed her huh?" He laughs.
"Her?" I ask.
"Him?" He looks at me confused. "Stop doing this to me!"
I look out the window.
Trees and trees.
And then a little cabin.
It doesn't look scary.
Usually i'd be scared but this is beautiful.
"Why are we at a cabin? In the woods?" I laugh.
"We're not in the woods." He laughs and gets out of the car.
I do the same.
I text my mom.
Me : Don't wait for me. I'll be home late.
Momma : Okay. Don't be home too late it's a school day.
Luke gets a bag out of the car's trunk that has the things we went to the hotel to get.
He walks towards the cabin.
"Are you coming or not?" He laughs reaching out for me.
I take his hand and he walks me to the place.
"Who's place is this?" I ask him laughing while he's looking for the key.
"Mine." He answers and unlocks the door.
Inside there's a tiny little kitchen, a couch and a fire place.
Upstairs you can see a bed.
It's like a little loft.
"And you have this place because ?" I walk inside and he closes the door.
"It helps me think. To be alone, somewhere quiet , somewhere where no one knows , somewhere beautiful." He says. "With someone beautiful." He mumbles.
"What?" I laugh.
"Nothing."
"Mhm." I say sitting on the couch.
"Do you have homework?" He asks sitting next to me.
"Yes, why? You want to help me with my math? Mr. Hemmings?" I laugh.
"Nope." He laughs.
"C'mon Mr. Hemmings!" I laugh.
"Stop calling me Mr. I am not your teacher." He continues to laugh.
"Okay, fine." I sigh.
"I missed you." He tells me.
"I missed you, too." I smile.
