I'm Sorry

I was crying before he could even say a word.

I knew who that was and it was unfair so unfair.

How could he do this he promised he wouldn't leave Natsu again.

We thought he died but here he was just hangin out here having fun .

While natsu was left with a dead dad who wasn't dead it's not fair to Natsu.

Natsu...

Igneel was so much like him it hurt. He had dark red hair but it was all spiky like natsu's.His build was like natsu's they were so alike, from their appearance to the way they stood. It hurt so bad and quite frankly i was scared of Igneel. I was scared he would hate me and want me to hurt just as much as natsu.

So I ran, i had no idea where I was going but I ran away from him. After what felt like i mile run i found myself in a huge library. It was amazing it looked like it could go on forever. I wanted to explore it But before i had a chance he found me.

Of course me being the baby i am started to cry again. He toke a step forward expecting him to yell at me or threaten me I flinched. 

Instead he gave me a hug.

" I dont know what my boy has done to you to make you this afraid. But I am here I will not hurt you for you are as a daughter of mine. I will protect you until you are able to stand up to your fears and protect yourself again." he whispered in my ear to calm me down.

"I..I..If you are alive still why  don't you try to see him or talk to him he still needs you." I some how manage to get out between sobs.

                                                               Igneel's p.o.v

I looked at the young girl trembling body. Even if I were to go to him now I am too upset with him. The girl did nothing to deserve to be this afraid.

"I'm sorry but I can't leave here without being called or summoned. And with every one believing I'm gone that can't happen. I had no intention of leaving him again. But for now i can't go back." I replied to the sobbing girl.

She sniffed and looked up at my face" why?"

"Because i am too upset with my son. He has no right to make you so afraid " I didn't notice but I raised my voice. 

She flinched "he has every right, it's all my fault"

"what do you mean lucy"

" I sent way too much time grieving over a friends death with someone else. It was not right of me being with Natsu and all. Natsu got upset i don't blame him like he said I'm just a dirty whore who can't be satisfied with one person at a time." She began to cry again.

I became furious" Did he ever lay a hand on you!"

" No he would never do that no matter how upset he is. He pushed me once but I was in his house and I wasn't invited in by him so thats okay i guess. And i landed in snow so i was fine." She smiled weakly.

I sighed "get some rest you have training with Pleione tomorrow"
