Some Bad News

Lucy's p.o.v

    It was maybe 2:30am when Grandine could finally come in and heal me. She inspected the wounds before hand. "Well I can definitly tell you that my darling Wendy has become good at her work. I have minimal healing that I need to do" She claimed.

    I smiled, this means that Grandine wont have to stress over my wounds. I tried to sit up again to reach the water that was left on the table next to me. There was a sharp stabbing feeling in my back and I winced in pain.

        "Lucy!" Grandine scolded "just because your wounds are better doesnt mean you have to move around and such. They are better not good."

      "What's not good?" A voice questioned from the doorway if the room. There stood Kaapo with some flowers and a strawberry milkshake. Grandine told him about my wounds, she told him how Wendy did a good job, but not good enough. He handed me the milkshake then proceeded to say "Lu ya can't be doing things like that. Or else I will have to punish you once you're all healed up" He winked and I choked on the milkshake. I was shocked he would say something like that, ESPECIALLY INFONT OF GRANDINE. She laughed and walked out of the room.

       "Watch her for me" she called as she walked out.

Kaapo's p.o.v

I

looked at Lu as Grandine walked out. This girl could be covered in dirt and blood ect. and still look great. I felt horrible that I wpuld have to tell her some bad news.

      "So lu" she looked at me "you realized how bad your ijuries are right? The debris did some serious damge to your spinal cord. Thats why when Wendy did what she could, she still wasnt able to fux it all the way. " Lu flinched, suddenly afraid on ehat this would mean she started to have a panic attack.

       "Will I ever walk, whats gonna happen now, am I gonna die, or worse will I be uneligable to compete??" She started to cry.

        "No no no, Lu." I consoled her, enveloping in a hug "Everything will be ok. Grandine can fix it. But heres the actual bad news. Based on the extensiveness of yoyr injuries, it will take her a whole day to heal them. This means you wont be able to compete until the last fight."
