My body was aching as my eyes adjusted to the bright light. I was laid in the bed of the hospital wing. Some bandages wrapped around my body. I slowly sat up and looked around. It was quiet and eary. Just then, the curtain pulled opened, and Madam Pomfrey appeared with some potion bottles.

"You're awake, thank goodness." She smiled, placing them down.

"How did I get here?" I questioned.

"Your father. He brought you here but left in a hurry." She smiled sweetly.

"So what's the damage?" I laughed dryly.

"Just some scratches, but from experience, you coped well." She smiled as she pulled the cork out of the bottle. "Drink." She smiled.

Suddenly, a loud bang was heard as footsteps and shouting were heard. Madam Pomfrey quickly stood and looked out the curtain. "She isn't up for visitors right now, and only the Headmaster has permission." She stated.

"Poppy, I do not care. There is a beast behind there! And I will make sure she is taken care of!" The shrieks of Umbridge were heard.

Didn't take her long to find out. Great. The curtain was pulled as the pink toad walked in.
"Well, well, well, living up to your last name!" I see she giggled.

I glared at the woman as she walked around me, examining pulling out her wand she stabbed me hard on my bandaged stomach, causing me to scream out in pain.

"Dolores, what on earth!" Professor McGonagall screamed as she pulled the woman away. "That is a student!"

"A student. She is an abonamtion a filthy half breed mut." She growled.

"She is a human being!" McGonagall snarled.

"The ministry will be hearing about this, and she will be expelled!" Umbridge smirked as she walked out.

McGonagall turned and saw my tear stained face. Walking over, she pulled me into a comforting hug. "I am so sorry, Lyla. I really am." She sighed.

"I'm fine, really. Can I please rip her throat out?" I laughed slightly.

"For once, I might actually allow this violence if she wasn't so close with the ministry.

I spent up until that evening in the hospital wing as Madam Pomfrey had to reheal my cut that the toad had reopened, but as I hobbled back to the Hufflepuff common room I was just ready to sleep. Pressing the barrels correctly as the door swung open. Walking into the calm Hufflepuff room, all students turned to see. They all looked at me as fear filled their eyes. They all stood up and all quickly darted to their bedrooms. I let out a sigh as I made my way to my dormitory. Pushing the door opened, I was met with Demi, Enzo, and Theo.
