Sitting in the great hall was always an amazingfeeling, especially after being away for 6 weeks. Everyone had gathered around their correct tables as we waited for all the new first years to be sorted. Surprisingly, we had gained a lot of new 1st year students.
"Well, that definitely makes a change, for sure." Demi chuckled.
"Oh, for sure." I smiled.
"Before I get onto any more important matters, I have one last announcement to make. We have a new student who has started. Not much is known, but I hope whichever house he is placed in you will make him feel at home." Dumbledore stated.
Turningaround the door opened up andstrolled a boy the same age as us. He looked a bit worse for wear. But his eyes and his curly made a bad boy act. I watched him as he walked past down the walkway, reaching the hat. Everyone was whispering the girls where gushing it was rather funny, really.
"Wow, he is so dreamy." Demi smirked.
"You have a boyfriend." I stated.
"A girl can dream, right?" She chuckled.
Everyone listened in. "Slytherin!" The hat shouted.
The whole Slytherin house stood and cheered loudly, gaining someone who would look like they had a bad reputation. I shook my head ever so slightly as our eyes connected. His smirk appeared across his face as he made his way over to the Slytherin table, taking a seat next to Enzo and Theo and them automatically doing a hand shake.
