"Are you sure you don't want to go stop at the Weasleys tonight?" My father asked for the 100th time that afternoon.

"I'm going to be stuck with them soon at the end of the week. I would rather be sane for a bit longer." I sighed.

"But you used to love going to the Weasley on my full moon. What happened?" My dad questioned.

"Nothing. Just times are changing, and friendship groups change all that joyful teenage stuff." I stated.

"Lyla, I know you're going through a lot, and you are doing a very well by covering things up. I may not be Sirus. But I am also your dad." He stated.

"I'm not a kid anymore. I'm nearly 16!" I snapped.

"Please, Lyla, you have been silent since the funeral. I can smell the smoke when you're puffing away. it's an awful habit." He stated.

I pushed off my chair. Just go, dad, let me enjoy my last few days of freedom." I glared as I stormed off into my room, slamming the door.

Lighting up the cigarette in my bedroom, I pushed open my window and sat on the window hanging out, puffing my lungs away on the cigarette stick. Yes, it was a bad habit, but I just didn't care much anymore.
